No the full herd test is free. But the test we had a few videos back we have to pay for at about £13 a cow.

I used to milk in a parlour the same, a bit slow but stress free, unlike a herringbone. It was a long process training the heifers to step up though.

@@DairyManShann yes front and back with conditioners and work very well but heavy hanging out to one side and even though we have them on a new Holland 7030 which isn’t a small tractor you would need to take it handy turning on headlands or you could rise the left wheel off the ground so we might put wheel weights on the left wheel for next year .

We have a 1996 class 860 similar to that and had the same issue with it blocking and replaced those clutch disks and it solved it , the radio works in ours but we have no air con or even fan but as you say if it keeps chopping grass is all that matters

Yeah the clutch discs sorted ares out. Had a bearing go on the drive at second cut but that’s the result of not been use for a while before we brought it. If you’re not on 1000s of acres you don’t need mod cons in the cab.

Be interesting to see if wool prices will ever start getting a good bit higher, was looking at prices for wool insulation for the roof space a month or so back - it were £20-£25 for 60mm x 1 square metre which is not cheap I suppose , but not that big a difference from the other types. Would be nice if farmers could at least cover cost of shearing and dipping, and who knows maybe make a profit if that’s allowed at all these days? Anyway thanks for all your work, enjoy your videos 👍

Hopefully one day they might do. But can’t see it happening anytime soon. This year we got 45p a kilo. Best we’ve been paid for a few years.

I question if the plough wasn’t just set right. It wasn’t just turning it over as good as it could have. But it come up well now it’s been worked down and seeded.
