yeah no real issues so far, n it's been keeping up with the workload pretty well so hopefully it stays like that. also the 80% battery cap you were on about is pretty sweet, I lost it when i downgraded to windows10 but i looked around n i just had to reinstall some asus softwore to get it👌

Upgrading was the better choice fixing would have cost more because most likely the mobo was dead i have the g18 4070 i9 with 16gigs of ram its a phenomenal machine it eats up fl studio like nothing I literally ignore all the warnings I get from the daw when exporting my songs in higher quality because this thing is a total beast, whenever i’m making music i set the charge limit to 80% on the my asus app so i can leave it plugged in and set the display setting’s to gpu only it runs smoother but I wouldn’t recommend doing it if you’re using the battery

@@omoweatherman yeah I was just playing around with the app looking through stuff and it’s supposed to conserve the battery while also being able to keep it plugged in. I guess this prevents it from degrading while it’s plugged in it’s really easy. You just go to device settings and go to battery care mode and click on it. You can turn it on and off whenever you want. Sometimes I will use the battery, but that’s only to regulate the charge cycles of the battery.
