You’re clearly not South African, so where did you learn to make the dish? The dish looks good though, we’ll done! It’s pronounced pap not phaap (get rid of “h” sound after “p”) It’s an Afrikaans word which is a Dutch derivative language. I wouldn’t recommend putting it in plastic, there’s no need to and plastics have so many chemicals, we never do that as South Africans. Just mold into a round shape by scooping it with your large dishing spoon or use a small round dish to set it into a round shape

Yes I am not a South African but live in South Africa and in citizens of Africa for that matter so I know much about all types of Pap in South Africa and how they prepare and serve them. And as a continental food mistress I try as much as possible to bring different countries dishes on board for those who want to know about other countries food. Your country food is a continental food for other countries and theirs and my are also continental food to you that you would want to know and try them. As for wrapping the Pap with the plastic is my own way of keeping it fresh for some days which many of your own people like that. Nevertheless it is optional because if you watch my video to the end I specifically said you normally scoop it directly in the plate but wrapping it is my own way of doing it. However I appreciate you so much. Kudos and much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ to you
