Haha. I agree. I prefer my comics raw. I just got into graded books recently and realized even more how much I prefer raw over graded. With raw I can actually every once in a while take a look at the comic and appreciate all the goodness inside the book. With graded I just feel like an art collector and can only see the cover and the ad on the back of the book. It is getting a bit harder to find the books raw that I want to complete a collection.

Sorry for the late response. I use the Mylites 2 silver age bags and backer boards for all my comics except for my newer ones that already come bagged and boarded already. I just love the consistency and how they make the books really pop. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! 👀😁

How did you like the hobby vs blaster? Seems like 1 #d per blaster is a pretty good deal. Can you get the EX Century from them? I think UD/Fleer nerf their retail offerings 😢

Honestly with exception of the autographed card I got in the hobby box I felt like I did better with the blaster box. I am not sure about the century cards.

Raw supremacy 🙌 It just hits different when you've got a key you love in high grade and it's not encapsulated in a big clunky piece of plastic. Recently got an insanely clean copy of ASM361 (HUGE carnage fan) and I'm about to encapsulate it at home with a thin, sexy crafti with that carnage red backing.

Agreed. Raw is different. Plus every once in a while you can take it out of the bag and flip through the pages and enjoy the artwork, etc. when it’s encapsulated all you can see is the front and back. Not as exciting. But still cool. Congrats on the ASM 361. Carnage is pretty cool. I actually have a few carnage action figures in my collection. I will try and share a video someday. I just think they make everything look so much better. Even the lower grade books. I will be sharing more books from my collection soon. Nice figure haul! I was thinking about getting that stryfe figure 5 pack box of figures but i missed out on that sale from Amazon and i don't have a Ross near me. Maybe Amazon will have another sale. Hopefully you can think of some new ways to display your figures or if getting more shelving was something you were thinking about. I have that same issue with always trying to find space for all my figures and physical media and i feel like it is an ongoing process that never stops especially if our collections keep growing but it is still a fun and enjoyable hobby!

I got pretty lucky with the Amazon deal. The Ross close to me generally has absolutely nothing. So I was glad Amazon hooked me up. As far as my action figure collection right now. I have pretty much been rotating figures in and out of storage. I like to keep things simple so I don’t have everything on display. I just purchased a file cabinet that I need to pickup later this week so hopefully that will help with getting some things cleaned up and stored away nicely with easy access. I have been busy with so many other activities my daughter has been involved in that I haven’t been able to get to the LCS on a regular basis. That is a great question. Personally I prefer my books raw. I just recently started collecting some graded books cause that seemed to be the only way I could get some books I wanted for my collection. With amazing Spider-Man #1 I didn’t care how low the grade was as long as the cover was complete especially if I wasn’t going to be able to open in up and look at the inside. I at least wanted something nice to look at. lol. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! 😀

Best of luck on the hunt. I haven’t seen these in stores yet. But most of the stores around me don’t seem to get anything good for several months and then they laid up on stuff that was out everywhere else months earlier.
