That is one of the greatest sleds of the late 90s! It's a 100mph sled with great handling, also kept stock it's very very good on gas, just as good compared to most 4 strokes with the same class. Fun machine great sound!

it wasn’t great. 3 motor jobs over the years. Ended up going with rwd and bigger displacement with N/A. in the long run it should me more economical

We haven't had a rematch since his clutch kit and new belt so will have to see how they compare this summer

I bought a new 570 sp a couple of months ago. The fastest I've been able to get it going is 53, which is slow compared to what other people are reporting :/

+joshb2087 Get your weight back and use the brake as you load up the engine and let the clutch engage, then let off the brake and it should come right up. It will make the initial getting the front in the air a bit easier.

Yeah very minimal change in sound level but noticeable change in tone (especially when using exhaust brake). Just a video to show that it doesn't make the cummins much louder. Had read reviews of people saying it was too loud and putting the cat back on.

2000greenz24 is there any drone now that the cats off? I've also read that taking the cat off makes the truck much louder. I still have my cat and I've been on fence for awhile now about taking it off as well.

go13ok I can't tell much of a difference in the truck. Just a little different tone. The DPF delete will make it louder but the cat delete didn't seem to.

Just some questions because I have had intentions of boosting mine as well, questions are; what did you use to tune it? How much did the build cost you? Did you build the transmission at all? And what would recommend as far going with higher numbers? I've been shooting for 400+ just curious since this is one of the few actually well built cavaliers I have seen.

Its been a bit of a roller coaster ride. Certainly not as reliable as the GM S/C I had on it before. But making 100 more whp is nice though. It all has its trade-offs

What is the top speed on this machine ? I own a 94 Vmax DX with a 600 engine and I get top speed about 90. a guy close to my house is selling one just like that for $2000 with plastic skis

Is the head stock or is it ported? What's the power band like?

SS racing valves and bronze guides. Stock head otherwise. The powerband is extremely linear. Full boost at 3000rpm and awesome mid range power.

Got some engine work to do over the winter and will probably change a few things up after. My car was a different color when I had the accents originally painted. The seats are also red so its kinda one of those things.

I just did secret cams. Check out turbo tech racing, thats where I got most of my internals from.

Wiseco pistons (only lasted one season), eagle rods and some other goodies. Made 300whp on 13psi.

Not saying its impossible but it would take a lot to flip. Its more stable than my Rev 600HO. It has a low center of gravity and a wide stance. Thing handles great on the twisty groomed trails. The rear skid could be better but I love the triple.
