Visited Chongqing and Chengdu several months ago... No doubt Chongqing was a nice place to visit, but would be better if the guys over there would stop smoking indoors and spitting on the floor so often like it's their second nature... I visited several other Chinese cities as well, haven't been annoyed as much as when I was in Chongqing.

My family and I have booked a trip to Chongqing this coming October and your video is indeed very helpful. Will take your recommendations wholesale for top 5 attractions and if time permits, will explore the rest . Are 4 days enough?

Chinese culture has a long history. A great nation whose development achievements in the past thirty years have shocked the world

I remember when we could take the cable car across the Yangtze as an actual form of commuting to the other side. How nice. Now its turned into a tourist trap with long lines the last time we were there. I liked Chongqing before they built "Raffles" totally blocking the historic city skyline from the Yangtze and putting people living in the apartment complexes behind in perpetual shadow. And also disgracing the historic Chaotianmen Square. Wonder what "influence" made this happen? 30 years from now the architecture will be old with no historic significance to the city. Reminded me of Singapore, NOT CHONGQING the first time I saw it.

How about a program on Chongqing's stairways from the Yangtze to the different tiers of the city? Exploring rhese is one of my favorite pastimes when I visit. Each is unique with their own micro-communities, ecosystems. Look for "Bird Stairway", the one with bird and pet shops at the top, and elders hanging their bird cages in the trees below. Wonderful...
