This isn’t going to look good in real life. Especially the peel and stick backsplash it’s going to be flat up against the wall and the wall texture will show through making really obvious that it’s a cheap sticker.

You can also boil them for like 20 mins instead of soaking - works better I think. Just use tongs to take them out! 🔥 Great video!

I would put a few inches of sand at the bottom. It helps to allow the wood at the bottom to dry out and it acts as a filter. It will remove some of the dirt so the water dripping onto your patio isn't so dirty. You could also devise a system to collect the water. Then you could reuse the water on dry days.

By the way, for anyone watching this - leaving your mattress on the floor creates inescapable moisture that WILL leave mold in your mattress! You need to have some way to filter air into the underside of your mattress. I have lifted my mattress that was on my floor once to find a small puddle created by my condensation and sweat!
