this set is good in my opinion, but the source dragon of motion is more worth it this set is good, but it just lacks the "toy" vibes, if it just had at LEAST one enemy minifig i'd personally buy this set.

I'm thinking if I should buy this set or not.

I almost went in my Villain Arc for the first time seeing the Fire stone mech This is not fair on cole he barley gets sets himself and DUMP ON HIM BY GIVING A EARTH MECH FOR AN EARTH ELEMENTAL TO KAI. KAI AINT A EARTH ELEMENTAL HES A FIRE, *cough cough* Anyways, they Dumped on cole even more by PUTTING KAI IN THE COCKPIT AND PUTTING HIS STUPID SYMBOL ON THE HEAD LIKE KAI HAD NO PART IN THAT MECH U SHOULDVE ADDED XOME OF THE UPPLY AS EXCLUSIVES Honestly

God I hope it’ll let me replace the elbow peices them with that it’s going to be super fun playing with since I need elbow atticerlation

For the fire stone mech i almost went in my Villain Arc seeing it for the first time, Cole being one of my fav characters i was so pissed that this set was based around Kai This is Cole's season this shouldve been Cole's its the mech for EARTH elementals not fire

71830 - the Storm Rider looks like it has escaped from the world of Monkie Kid. The Storm Village with all those minifigures actually makes it exceptionally good value for included minifigures for a change. And Lloyd gets possessed again? Evil Jay looks great. So does that tiny little brick-built red dragon and those new wings to do so. I think for quantity of stuff this set actually *IS* decent value. The Mech is a bit samey to me - but overall I do think it's BETTER than the last combo mech that they did. The jet also looks a bit same to some of the other jets that they have done - HOWEVER it is the first time that they have made one that sits multiple people inside.

I wouldn't say awesome... it is nice from the standpoint of a workshop but it's pretty underwhelming compared to the other larger Ninjago sets. I'm a bit disappointed, but knowing me I'm still going to get it..

I personally think that thunderfang is the worst out of them all

I love the new spinner whenever my cousins come over we battle with them and make tournaments 10/10 Ninjago spinners

Maybe I am alone on this one but the workshops is very ugly set. It is very ugly build and just a small, cheap version of Gardens. I like there is less expensive Ninjago city set but they could use the budget for the mech to make a more beautiful build

Thunderfang is definitely the standout of the three. We dont often get villian centric sets, especially large creature builds. I believe the last one we got was the Crystal King set. I like the Ninjago City Workshops set as well, and mainly how it has connection points on all four sides. The minifigure selection isn't perfect, but I say it's pretty solid. I mainly had problems with the lack of leg printing, but Harumi doesn't necessarily need it. As well as Twitchy Tim. Can't say the same about Dr. Larow though, she REALLY needed it. Also they gave her the wrong color hairpiece, but that's easily fixable. The Arc Dragon of Focus is one I'm still really mixed on. Certain parts of the build look off in the pictures. Like the underbelly and the upper back. But I'll wait till reviews drop to give my full judgement on the build. And while none of the minifigures are exclusive, Kai and Lloyd are the only storm suits I'm missing. I know Zarkt will appear in some of the summer sets, but I'm dying to get my hands on him. And i wouldn't mind having an extra of him, and Drix too.

This is the first Ninjago City set I’ll skip. I cant stand these fkcing mechs anymore. When did Ninjago become Mechjago? I feel like in the last three years or so we have had more mechs than in all previous years combined… And not just Ninjago, they are in SW, Super Heroes, City, Dreamz, etc. They are everywhere and with very few exceptions they all look and feel the same. But apart from the mech, the Set feels also very incomplete and not worth its price. Especially the figs are really bad and stingy, easy skip.

Whatever the heck happened to Ninjago city apartments. Did that leak turn out to just be plain false, because it had so much detail and minifigures in the listing.

I wish that the workshops had some of the new elemental masters from the tournament. I really hope we don’t have to wait two years for another Ninjago city
