Space 1999 was cool. UFO was even more cool (and racier). I always liked the Captain Hero sketches in HHS and the musical guests. The house band was pretty cool too.

Thank so much for posting these segments! I loved this show when I was 10 years old. I was so upset when it got cancelled. This show only spoke to kids on their own level. Never talked down to us. My dad would play racquetball, and there was a little daycare/tv section. I would always watch this there with my toasted lenders bagel for breakfast. Those were the days!

Whats the name of the song on 0:00 Min?
@HotHero19796 ай бұрын
That would be incidental music made by the Hot Hero Band under direction by Mountain's Felix Pappalardi, not a full song. They also did the music for the bumpers and transitions between sketches, etc.

His vocal talent was huge, but everyone wanting to keep him in (gorgeous) teenybopper heartthrob status may have held him back. Glad he made it to Broadway; his voice is golden.

Thank you for asking, but full episodes have not been released nor are they available on streaming platforms. I only release clips. There are more Nimoy interview segments (that was shot in his home at the time), but its a bit of work to go through everything and what little extra time I have now I use tracking down and interviewing the cast members.

This is an old recording. Can anyone publish the lyrics? Never thought I'd hear it again. I like the solo guitar. Now can anyone find me the dance number by the Arthur Murray Studios from the 1971 Jerry Lewis Telethon?

“Here We Come and There They Go” By Andy Breckman Well, there’s a rumor going round They say that when the sun goes down And disappears It never really goes away They say that like a faithful friend The sun is gonna rise again They tell me that tomorrow is another day Here we come and there we go Here we come and there we go Here we come and there we go Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye Hello, hello, hello, hello I bought a boomerang today I threw it and it went away It just kept going so I figured It was gone Ten years later walking down The street the other side of town The thing came back and hit me SMACK! Right on the arm Here we come and there we go Here we come and there we go Here we come and there we go Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye Hello, hello, hello, hello First the writers work it out And the actors get it down And the sets are built The cameras start to rill and then The people here at NBC They send it out to your TV And WALLA! Just like that We’ve made another friend Captain Hero, here’s your cue Tapedeck, (unintelligible) where are you? Dipstyck, you’re a hero too. Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye Hello, hello, hello, hello Here we come and there we go Here we come and there we go Here we come and there we go

Thank you. Must have been a fun, as well as a sad occasion. Good to see all the crew joining in the song. Made an impression that lasted over 40 years. Was this ever recorded on record or CD?@@HotHero1979
@HotHero1979 Жыл бұрын
@@patrickmcwilliams696No. There have been no VHS, CD or DVD releases. Let's just say I have a source close to the show. I think its great that you remember this song. It's really quite a complement to Andy Breckman and the band. I have gotten a few other comments about this song. That anyone remembers it without any media release is quite remarkable. You can learn more about the series at www.HotHeroSandwich.com Interviews with the band, Andy Breckman, the cast and more!
