As soon as Zhiyun makes a gimbal with a swap-able battery they'll be able to compete with DJI. The light introduces a mobility problem for low shots unless you do the twist flip maneuver. Don't forget to push the mount plate all the way to the right before locking - camera can fall off. No auto-lock on the arms. Good product, but they need to address a few things.

If you feed 4k video into the transmitter will the receiver display the feed in HD with audio? Or does it run into issues when feeding 4k into the transmitter?
@ArtVideoProductions
@ArtVideoProductions 18 күн бұрын
@@s.c.2867 I think I made this test for a few… I’m not quite sure if I remember 100% doing that. I think it should be no problem the same way most “4K” small monitors, if you will, accept 4K signals but they are always HD. To avoid any issues… Your HDMI cable / quality / rating is ALSO an important component as well!!

@@Jilsonsecklertiu I will be a little bit of a clutter. You will need two adapters: 1- the Bowens adapter for this light 2- plus the Godox SA-17 Bowens Mount to S30 Mount Adapter. @ArtVideoProductions

@@manobavisual I don’t think there would be any interference close to each other or far as I assume each unit GO TO work in different frequencies. Get two sets, plug it in. Should be no issues. If there is (I doubt) return like anything else you buy on amazon. Fear free…

Finally, a compact (narrow-angle) reflector for a compact light. I wish they would standardize these 'mini' mounts, so that we have as many interchangeable accessories as we currently have for full-size Bowens units. Also, when doing your run-time calculations, you might want to add a 15% 'fudge factor' as a minimum. Some batteries will cut the power entirely when the cells get close to empty so as to prevent damaging the cells (so I've been told). Thank you for the review.

This review seems a bit biased towards zhiyun... you made excuses for all of the short comings of the x100 or just overlooked them, and then you ripped the colbor apart without giving the same benefit of the doubt. Every single point you made it was like "the colbor does this which isnt very good, but the x100 does this and is much better" Im paraphrasing obviously but it seemed like the entire review was just shilling the zhiyun products. I came here looking for a completely unbiased review and didnt find that. There are lots of examples of this throughout your review but one specific example of your bias is that you were trying to make zhiyun out to be better price wise with all it includes and amazon gives discounts on it bringing it closer to the colbor price with battery.. but you didnt show the same amazon discounts colbor has for their battery combo bringing it down to $209... but i get it... zhiyun gave you a free light and wanted a video

@@mitchellfilms the Canon R3 and the FX3 is considered a “light” load. 1.8 lb / 822 g (Body Only) Your FX3 weighs 1.4 lb / 640 g (Body Only). I set mine to LOW and with a Canon EF 24~105 lens. You don’t need to “auto calibrate” at all regarding “vibration”. And that vibration if using the auto calibration, it STOPS the moment you grab the gimbal. To cancel the auto, set the motor manually to whatever. In our case, LOW. Vibration on the footage, especially zoom lens for being long and heavy, MAKE SURE to use the lens support. That’s very important on every gimbal.
