In the words of Richard Burton's narration of Jeff Wayne's ' War of the Worlds ' " No one would have believed.....". I still can't, no one can. Thanks guys for all of the pods and sometimes thankless efforts you make to bring us content and context. Cheers and see you all for the madness of the Premier. Johnnie Llewellyn X

after going to the rearranged game at a wet Rotherham. Was blaming Axel for a rocket pass to Davis which he laid their goal on a plate. Did not expect the greatness that happened 🚜

absolutely love this. talking about pivotal moments of the season, has to be Chaplin tactical injury break at the new den when we were absolutely under the cosh. that millwall 4-0 away win was crucial and ended a run of only 1 win in 9, kicking off a run of 9 wins in 10.

This was excellent, what a great idea to recap the season! Any chance of seeing previous seasons as a way of remembering the dark times as a point of comparison?! Great work BM!

Did chuckle at the change in tone from the disbelief at the start to draws against Leicester and West Brom being part of a bad run. Thanks for a great year.

At the end of the day you sometimes have to take a chance. You cannot right every Championship player or really any player off because they haven't played in the Prem. If that was the case there would never be any bargains and also Town would need to get rid of a majority of the current squad as they have no Premier experience. Also experience may be vital but legs are also vital. To get an experience Premier player they would have to be in their senior years. A central defender maybe, but not midfield or forward.

I have full faith in the ownership/management model getting the right bodies in the door and McKenna being able to improve those players to make us competitive. Think we can market ourselves to the big boys as an excellent place to send high prospect youngsters on loan.

Love the pod and loving being able to hear you guys talk about town in this whole new world, one minor complaint now we’re in the prem a little more awareness or research of other teams, stuttgart have a 50k stadium and one good season is a 1 way ticket to Bayern, or even maybe a league win as proved this year
@BlueMondayITFC3 күн бұрын
There's only so much stuff we can research Max! 😊 (We weren't that disparaging of Stuttgart were we?)

@@BlueMondayITFC no and I totally get that, just felt since we got promoted we have a bigger sense of ourselves that maybe we warrant, I know it’s content and gotta talk about something especially when there isn’t much news but just something I’ve noticed.

Please buy Lewis O’Brien - the poster child for players who excelled in the champ but can’t cut it in the Prem. He’s tidy on the ball and will play 5 yard sideways passes all day. Other than that - offers nothing. By all means scoff at the number of players we bought (we started the season with 12 first team players left from the promotion side) but come back in December and we’ll see how your season is going?

Not a fan of VAR though. More so when they admit they've made mistakes. Mistakes could mean whether a team wins the league or gets relegated. So Wrong.
