There is no point making tutorials without actually talking in the video to explain everything. Thumbs down

Hi, Your video is well made overall and the music brings motivation But I think that explaining where you click and showing on screen every key that you use to go through each step (maybe adding notes on the side) would make it easy to follow for beginners as well to make this bookshelf I am new to Blender and I was stuck for a few hours at 1:27 because i still have troubles knowing where to click and what keys to use on my keyboard to go through different steps to transform the object Personnaly, I was not able to change the lenght of the bar from the right side, but the height and width were changing.Turned out that i forgot to press (g) after selecting the vertices If someone encounters the same issue than me, Go into edit mode (Tab) > Select the vertices of the side you want to scale > press grab (g) > press x-axis (x)

The most important part with the loop cuts is hard to follow, here's what happened, ctrl-r (loop cuts) > scroll up (change num loop cuts) > s (scale) > x (lock to x axis) > move mouse (change scale factor) > click (select scale factor). Note that this scales your shape so you may want to apply your scale after you're done.

Use the snap to vertex when moving (sub)object to snap perfectly in place. Click the axis you want to move on first on the move transform gizmo.

Putting the pivot point in the centre is best done by modeling the entire model on the grid centre point. Then when you effect the pivot simply put the coordinates all at 0 with the move tool active.

This one is hard for me,I struggled a lot at the subdivision bit,Even worse the video is not beginner friendly,The tutorial feels too fast paced and people can't keep up that easy All I'm trying to say is that your video isn't bad it's just that it's not appropriate for beginners in my opinion as it gets confusing

Your Glass looks wonderful, but it doesn't work for me - The preview just shows a glossy black or grey orb. A Blender-Book describes: Material Properties->... ...base color: any ...Alpha: 0,2 ...Blend Mode: Alpha blend not so pretty but it works

One of my favorite parts of tutorials like this is watching mundane items get set up like a super model during a photo shoot. "Yeeees, let's see that transparency, honey! Oh you're doing fantastic! Let's get another light over here to really show off that light transmission! Beautiful!"
