Let’s say you LOVE this song, you first heard it back in your early punk phase and you recognized it’s a touching, weirdly crooning, broadly simple yet excellently cracking tune that just stays with you, despite the fact that you don’t even know what it’s about, not really. Years later, you see Metallica do it with Danzig, and it’s too fast and too heavy. It’s not the same song. Then you miss the big reunion shows and when you see the videos online it’s again just way too fast, too ugly and leaves you wishing you could see it live just right, just once. Then, you come across these guys. They get it, and they absolutely nail it.
