I liked the Cadillac Hood ornament. Travis Sure likes to keep his drums flat. Kinda surprised he doesn't just use another floor tom in front instead of a mounted tom. No worries that guy breaking or going anywhere when playing. It would be unique too.

Was going to buy a Yamaha shell kit for 570 and a Tama snare, would've run me like 800 after tax. This mapex kit snare is definitely a trade off, but this seems like incredible value. Thanks so much for this video.

Hasn"t lost a damn thing to old age, just the best rock drummer, up there with Alex Van Halen, Nicko Mcbrain, Keith Moon....I could go on and on, Brian Downy is one of the greatest.

Brian Downey, such a great drummer that I'm appreciating more and more. He's as accurate as a click track, but when he rushes the snare roll it's thrilling - then he hits the cymbal exactly on the swing beat - before normal service is resumed. He proves that the most important musician in a rock band is the drummer, and that's coming from a guitarist.

hated those stock heads, put some remos of choice on there and you got yourself a kit! also got an armory, which does actually sound better, but this kit is so fun

Wonderful performance! These guys both play so well, even though they are very different. It's too bad drummers don't get together and play with each other more often. I've done it a few times and it's amazing what comes out. Also, a great opportunity to learn new things. If you liked this, there's a great video on YT of Jojo Mayer and Benny Greb, different from this but just as amazing.

Had the privilege of seeing them with jeff beck and king crimson it was akin to a religious experience

Really didnt think a different colored head would make much difference but they sound way nicer than anything else inhave ever tried, they're tight and focused with still some pleasant overtones, easy to tune and get a good result on a cheap kit
