If you go from E to Ab, how do you do it without the left hand of the accordion drooping down too far to play?

Thank you for adding this! I’ve been learning this song for months and it just sounded so mechanical. After listening to you play, I replayed it myself with that waltz feeling and it sounded so much better. thank you! It’s so hard to learn from a book and this really helps to demonstrate the musicality.

Very nice ! Thinking too on a related account - so many nice songs in Fiddler on the Roof. Have you looked at the music Theme From "Zorba The Greek" which would also go well with the tambourine ?

Hi Lucy, I see (and hear) you now also play on a Hohner accordion. I started to play last May on a second hand Hohner Black 48 and teaching myself while following the Palmer-hughes Prep books. Your video's are great, inspiring and helpfull so please keep making them! I would like some help with dynamical play. Its hard on my little accordion to go from piano to forte and make the music, no matter how simple, more dynamic. My background in music is the piano and that helps. Do you enjoy the Hohner Bravo II? Kind regards, Eveline
@energeticvids24 күн бұрын
Very nice. The button spacing looks wider than others - which would be good for me. Hohner's website says the Bravo series is good for beginners. Do you sense that as compared to the Scandalli's as to performance (not price) ?

I like the video, I have a 48 key piano accordion Excalibur from Jim Laab accordions. I am 6'4" and got rid of my old 120 bass piano accordion. This 48 key is much lighter, which my low back likes, but the 48 bass is small and my left shoulder/arm seems to be very cramped when I play it. Do you have any suggestions for making it not so cramped to play?
