this song is absolutely amazing and i can't believe how lucky we are to have a video- THIS video- alongside it. it is so so moving. another song with this vibe is How To (hair) by Esperanza Spalding. brings tears to my eyes each time i watch it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eV6Xqq2KiNJ0msk

Dope. If Jonathan Batiste was born into 1800's New Orleans he'd be Jean Batiste with a strong likelihood of Haitian ancestry

Must be a supreme force that pulls humanity towards stupidity and mediocrity, while we have everything to become less stupid. Now real artists or millennial traditional music is just ignored in favor of little assholes like this guy...theo croker.. 'We know very well that Rome is an imitation of Timbuktu and that the masters of the Italian Renaissance learned a lot from Africa. It is a historical fact.' ' 'I'm a sexy motherfucker. My whole group is a group of seducers. All we want, with my group, is what they themselves wanted: to fuck, to get high, to play music, to meet girls and even to steal your girlfriend! It has always been so.' Theo Croker, 2022. This Theo Croker person is just not worth our attention.

such a great work! just stumbled upon this by accident looking for updates on chronixx. a long time I've been waiting for my favourite reggae artists to get more into jazz music, because I think it can work very well. simply love chronixx for doing this. thank you theo for making this possible. this might go past most peoples heads but it's a blessing for those of us who feel it. bless
