NO, level 2 armor is NOT optionnal.. It wont fit the Jacket. ( confirmed by Revit). And CE single A protection = 45km/h max = city riding ONLY. Riding at your speed and thinking you are well protected is STUPID. Most mesh jackets, A rated, are pure marketing and useless for real motorbike riding. maybe just OK for 50cc city riding,... You are just irresponsable.... or ignorant. Sorry. 😉

It doesn't appear to be as simple as that after reading up on EN 17092. My thoughts are, buy the best protective gear that you can afford at the time, because something is inordinately better than nothing. A slide on tarmac with no protection will be life changing. And if you're worried about hurting yourself, then maybe motorbikes aren't for you!!

@@austinspacious1885... not being worried about hurting himself is STUPIDITY. Just enjoy motorbike with reasonnable protection. Even if allways better than nothing Level A is not. Why would you pay for marketing crap ?? For about the same price i got CE AA with level 2 armor... that is the minimum good compromise confort / protection.... Price shouldnt be a concern when safety is in question... You buy expensive bike + often useless options, maybe a stupid €€€€ exhaust etc... and you are short for safety ?? LOL. and if you search carefully, you can find good level of protection cheaper than most marketing minimum rated crap.... 😉. CE level A = only main impact zones tested for 45 km/h abrasion résistance. ( only elbow and shoulders, center body even not tested) = very low protection, only for inside city riding speed ( if you respect the speed limitations....) = really only OK if you ride a legal 50cc... Everything else is marketing bulshit to sell cheap made in pakistan products, that are ILLUSION of good protection, at a VERY expensive price for what it is. $$$. 😉

There were more than a few aches but well worth it for the view from Scafell. The following 400 or so miles on our bikes hurt more though!

Hi, unfortunately all the footage from the Cornwall trip was lost when my hard drive crashed. Sadly the manufacturer could not retrieve the data. We are going to have to return to Kernow and eat loads more pasties and film a bit more :) Hope you are well, it was great to meet you :)

Hi Matt and Tatyana, we promise we will get an ice cream in Polperro for dessert after the next pasty ride :) We still hope to try a Sarah's pasty in Looe. The first time they had sold out, the second time they were closed... 3rd time lucky as they say :) Thank you for watching
