Went to most "Bankies " games,home and away in 76/77. Remember the home Friday night games with fondness. Fotheringham,Cathcart,Gray et al! After living in England for many years (and Brazil) am currently trying to relive the glory days most Saturdays by revisiting the "nether regions" of Scottish football. Pebble dashed council housing,snow capped mountains behind the away end,first class pies & hypothermia. Its what Scottish football is all about!

i was a ball boy for the bankies as well 1987-1989 - watched them religiously from 1986 till 1992. as you say RIP Thistle. there were about 5 of us who would watch the thistle home and away from haddington - magic days !

Alright i used to be a ball boy for meadowbank th. back in the 86-89 season. i used to train with them too. Tue & Thu night. R.I.P Thistle.
