To all the comments that state how much worse Sonic 1 sounds in PAL. I compare it with chocolate, US chocolate, specifically Hersheys. To Europeans that stuff smells like vomit (no seriously) and tastes like sweet mud. It's just what Americans are used to. European chocolate is dairy rich. It smells and tastes much better. We are used to it, however without the direct comparison to those terrible Hershey bars we didn't realise just how good we had it. That being said, there's a few tracks I believe sound better in PAL. This one. Marble Zone. Final Zone. Even Green Hill sounds nice and chill, like the first zone kinda is.
