Godox flashes will not work with canon cameras (RF mount) while using HSS and TTL simultaneously, do you know if this fixes that issue if used with a more modern R3/R8?

Many people prefer BBAF. And that's great. But this explanation of how the normal operation of the shutter button works is wrong. The audio and diagram at 1:13 implies the camera stops focusing during picture taking. It does not. If you have the camera set to Servo AF (Continuous AF) , the camera will continue to AF during the picture taking process. (A whole press is also a half press) An advantage of BBAF is you can stop the AF and continue firing shots. In sports this is useful for a situation like a baseball player sliding into home. You can prefocus on the plate, release the BBAF button and shoot rapidly staying focus on home plate even if something gets in front of the camera. I prefer to program my camera for BBDF, Back Button Don't Focus. My shutter button works normally and in the rare situation where I want to stop AF, but continue shooting, I just press the BBDF button.

It seems lens mounts ans lens compatibility are just one big scam to separate you from as much money as possible. They could have made lenses that fit every camera that just screw in...but they didn't want to.

Many photographers are not happy because Canon world's first expensive flash, the EL-1, will not directly fit & work. Imagine you dropped $1,200.00 for a flash & it fit on the camera. But it will not fire.

@@photosprouts cheaper directions use ATG's, Godox or Yongnuo Xmitter. So if you have Canon OEM flashes, then ATG & Yougnuo transmitter work

I was wondering why the shutter speed was so fast but it’s probably to keep up with the flash, I guess. I’m new.

It’s because the aperture was wide open; in order to expose for the highlight in the sky and background (meaning that not to have them over exposed), a faster shutter speed is needed.

Also what softbox do you recommend when first starting out to take with you on the go for outdoor photoshoots?

Yes of course! Xt1 is discontinuing. So use xt2 (amzn.to/3UVL87l) or xpro (amzn.to/3UY3jJz). Make sure the trigger is specific to your camera brand (canon/ Nikon/ Sony).

Well explained but very few pros use bbf. R5 is a pro camera that has excellent fast eye focus and tracking so splitting into 2 functions and 2 buttons will just slow you down especially at events
