Gotta take it onto the conveyor for this project. That way you won’t make a mess each time you move the big conveyor.

Yes this was a old prototype. We have since refined the design so that it doesn’t spill as much.

Make one with hydraulic Jack and I’ll buy one. You already have the hydraulic system it would be a very easy setup

Maybe turn the conveyor feeding into the bin to something you see on potato harvesters to get more soil sifting through but man, what a work saver. Turn glacial moraines into real hi producing fields.

so the suspension is like a Timbren rubber block idea? at first glance I thought it was airbags. cool trailer.
@dvsbaraga39152 жыл бұрын
Correct, the system is set to travel height using the hydraulic system and rubber block provides the suspension. Gives a very smooth ride for the cargo. It is a little trippy the first time towing. The axle moves and the bed stays still.

That's Game Changing! I've done so many restoration jobs and this is genius. I have either done them by hand or with a mini skid. The mini skid is obviously much easier, but I get really conscious of track marks on a new driveway. I always put myself in the customers shoes, and I would had skid marks all over my new drive. This completely eliminates both. Just have to make sure the concrete is fully cured before you add the weight. Nice!

That looks like it could go badly. Picking up the rear tires like that on a hill and watch it all roll away. Parking break is in the rear.
@andrewk86362 жыл бұрын
You don't use it in park. Someone's inside to inch it forward as the conveyer pushes the load off. They have a wireless remote for that

The new trailer made for people who don't know how to load things.
@andrewk86362 жыл бұрын
Built by people who knew exactly how to load things and knew exactly what they're doing. If you need a dump trailer get a dump trailer, this is a niche product for people who really need it
@amandadavis9726 Жыл бұрын
I’d buy one. This trailer would be perfect for delivering and unloading firewood. Material handling is above all. No other trailer can handle multiple types of material at the same time.

I had a big tex trailer years ago. Landscape, with round side rails. I never had a problem with it, but I don't really know much about trailers. Can you elaborate on what you mean by them having a horrible product? I'm not arguing. Genuinely interested.

back in my day we'd haul that soil by hand 30 miles and cross a rickety bridge over piranha filled waters just to tend to an old ladies garden. after 3 weeks of backbreaking labor she'd toss us a nickel and we'd split it 5 ways. you young whippersnappers have no idea how good you've got it!
@mikeznel60482 жыл бұрын
In all seriousness, these new generations have no clue how good they have it. They complain about the most mundane things as if it was a life ending problem. They have no idea what a real problem is. Not to mention what a real days work is.

Looks like a good trailer if all you’re going to do is haul mulch. Too many moving parts to hold up with heavier materials. Also probably only sold in southern states wouldn’t do well where they put salt on the roads in the winter.
@masonlynch17933 жыл бұрын
They are built and tested in Upper peninsula Michigan, so from what I’ve heard they are built for the north. Stanley Genadak interviewed who I think was one of the owners, that’s where this is from.

I like it because the crashing and bashing is kept to a minium. Must pay dividends in how long parts last. Good job. I guess too it won;t need much diesel either.
