Waited eleven months.... well worth the wait, the car's a beast.... love it!

I saw my new Corvette yesterday. I went in to see it and was awestruck at how beautiful it was. I choose to get the car sealed with a ceramic coating, so it will be a few days before I get to bring it home. It has taken 2.5 years since I put down my deposit for this ride. This video is for me -- thanks. (And thanks to GM for building such an amazing product.)

That's a huge help, and thank you. My new '24 black Z51 Coupe is in pre-delivery at my local dealer right now, and I hope to pick it up tomorrow. Watching your excellent video probably saved me having to pull over and whip out the manual, or worse yet, call a tow truck. I'll watch this valuable video a few more times. Thanks.

Great information. I purchased my Z06 just 36 hours before I moved to another state and knew very little about my car. This is an enormous help! Thank you very much.

Would u be able to do a similar video for 2024 c8 model. It runs on Google android software. Specifically, id like to know where the “PIN# to start vehicle” is on the 2024 model.?

I recommend that you *do* *not* slam a soft close trunk as shown in this video. I own a 1985 Eldorado Biarritz with a soft close trunk and you can damage the mechanism by slamming it. Simply push the trunk lid down until you hear a click on both my Corvette and my Cadillac, then the electronic system will take it from there.

Buying my wife one today. Does anyone know the recommended fuel grade. I assume it will be 93octane.🤔
@sterlingjones4108 Жыл бұрын
The fuel ⛽️ that’s required is the one someone would expect when they LOOK 👀 at the car. Hope that helps.

How many credit hours do I receive if I successfully program my new Vette? It should be at least a five Hr class. My first car in 1970 was a 64 Impala, a wonderful car! For thelife of me I can't think of any option or "operating system" that needed to be explained. I looks like the new Corvette requires a secret handshake just to get in and start it. I can hardly wait!

How do you get out if the battery is dead?
@gvc76 Жыл бұрын
There are manual release latches on the floor, next to each door, which you can pull to open the doors, if the battery is dead

When you install your top be sure to latch all three latches before you drive away so the unlatched top doesn’t fly off as you drive!

On the paddle shifters you can pull on both at the same time and put the car in a rolling neutral and disengage the cruise without pushing on the brakes. You can save the dual clutch by holding both paddles at a traffic light while stopped!
@lennymoore2443 Жыл бұрын
what do you mean by "disengage the cruise without pushing on the brakes" when would you utilize the double paddle shifter pull?

Will the GT1 seats be more comfortable for daily driving than the GT2 seats, if they are both in a 2LT? I'm considering the LT3 but I can't choose GT1 seats and if they are more comfortable that's more important to me.
@BrianOlsonbigBcarsales3 жыл бұрын
I do find the gt1 and gt2 seats comfortable for daily driving. The gt2 seats would combine comfort and side bolsters for aggressive driving as well.
