Watching , but somewhat Silent. Couldn't get starlink up till tonight. The boys tried to again say Hi. 😢. We all love the family togetherness and explore. We hope in our motor coach and headed for our group family's lodge to decorate with holiday tree and lights before next coming week with 15 family's and and holiday games .haha. oh Easton the boys said nothing wrong with your deleted ( option report) haha. You all find time to share everything. We try to do that with everybody in our group . Weather has been wet most of the weekend sofar. Again Boys come with some instructions but new ones can be added too. Hope the boat last till the trip is over. Silent but watching with friends tonight and they love you all 👬👨👦👦---👨👩👧👦👨👩👦👨👩👧👧🧑🤝🧑👨👩👦👦👫👬 more but to long to put everybody in.

Interesting to see how your fun-lovin family coped with being stuck in a boatyard. Not too pleasant, but getting resourceful there was better than spending a load of money on a hotel, I would say. Time to patch up the home and get done anything you'd been putting off. The bay at Peter Island, a big aquarium, was a refreshing return to the ocean. Thanks for sharing.

I've noticed that catamaran sailors are a lot more laid back about life jackets and lifelines when going on deck in weather than monohull guys like me. I know the deck isn't heeling but still, it's a storm. Dont be blasé!

New to your blog. I worry about you/the kids getting skin cancer. Does everyone use sunblock? Do you get regular check up with dermatologist?

We used sunblock in the beginning and then our skin got used to the sun. Not a protector from skin cancer by any means, but we do get dermatologist check ups♥️

@@SailingBananaPancakes Thanks for info. Most of your kids are fair skinned and therefore frequent and long periods of being in the sun is a medical risk. (It won't show up necessarily in their youth. In addition, their skin tone when older may wrinkle more.) There is always a trade off in life. If I were you, I'd keep doing what yall are doing. You have a strong family; you are living the world....really out there in the world and engaging...and not all this on-line crap where kids look at their phones for hours and hours. Your family dynamics seem strong. Oddly; while my 2 are now in their 40s I thought that we were a close family but have come to think that I should have done better.....but doesn't everyone feel that way? Glad you have regular dermatology check ups....they say there is global warming but whether it is or not, when you are in hot, humid, salt water and bright sun it's a feeling of beauty that you are living so close to the Lord. Have a nice day.

I know this video is a year old (I only just discovered your channel) but as a further boat brat myself (LONG ago) and as a fan of the sailing With Six channel, I think the best thing you can't do for your kids is to treat them as proper crew. By my thirteenth birthday I could do the basic servicing on a diesel engine and I could work the sails and use the VHF and I loved it.

I’m not sure if weather moves faster over water or not, but the Virgin Islands tend to have great weather. We have squalls that do pass through pretty quickly but nothing major. Glad you are enjoying the videos!

Your videos are so much fun!! I love the narration and I don't care what anybody says I think it is great filmwork!! The cliff diving was awesome! Incidentally, when you catch a shark or any fish that you plan to release remember the hook is steel and will rust and dissolve in the saltwater in less than two weeks so there is no need to put your hands near the mouth, just cut the leader and all will be fine. Happy Birthday Karver! Thanks for sharing! Now if I could just get some of that lobster mac-n-cheese and one of those delicious looking Malia blueberry muffins! 💕⛵⛵⛵
