Andvwhy should we care what the Bible says? It also condones genocide, slavery, and eternal punishment for petty crime, and a bunch of other immoral things.

Hi Harrison! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We understand your concerns about certain passages in the Bible. While the Bible contains diverse perspectives, we believe its core message is one of love and redemption. We encourage open dialogue and exploration. We are a multicultural country, not a bicultural country. Our county's name is New Zealand, not Aotearoa. Learn the real Treaty of Waitangi. The original in Maori states that Maori ceded sovereignty and became British subjects. They became equal to all other citizens in New Zealand. New Zealand is now a modern democracy of 160 cultures. We should;d be focussing on them all equally. Make the culture of the kingdom of God as centre and not the cultures of man.

Shincheonji are wolves in sheep's clothing. They want people to believe that a mortal man is the chosen pastor from Revelation. He isn't. He's a chosen pawn of satan.
@thestreetchurchnz5 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your comment. Our desire is not to accuse, instead, we want to be faithful to the warnings the Bible gives in Matthew 7:15-20. It would be unloving of us not to intervene if we thought people were being influenced by false teachers.

Ooohhhh....I never though about the “friend” bit quite like that...had an idea of being on the same team, but this is more. I didn’t have many friends, not any close ones. I have a couple of close friends now, I’ll have to think what makes them close friends and see how to apply that...🤔👍🏻 I don’t think I’m particularly good at being a friend...was alone a lot before, and the close friends I have now complain that I never call them 😅. I must look into that.

It's great to hear Sarah's Bible-based teaching has given you a new perspective on marriage and friendship. If you're not already, being part of a church community is a great way to make friends and gain Godly wisdom through Bible teaching. If you're in the Wellington, New Zealand area, we'd love to see you at one of our physical gatherings on a Sunday. You can find the details on our website: www.thestreet.org.nz/ If you're based elsewhere, Googling "Christian church near me" can be a great start to finding an encouraging community.

Good point 'So what'? Absolutely I agree. It's like when people say a god did 'XYZ' because they do not understand how it really happened. The more we understand the less need for a god. It's like Thor was invented by man for man to understand thunder and lightning. 'god magic' of any type is never the answer in real life. So yes I do agree and wished people would stop indoctrination their children into the unfounded beliefs they were indoctrinated with by their parents. It's why we have the Bible Belt, Iraq full of Muslims and Nepal full of Hindus.

Hi Alice, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Even though we have differing viewpoints, it's great that you've been able to engage with this message. It's true that we believe in a supernatural God who works in ways we don't always understand. However, Christianity is not a "blind faith." You might find it interesting to explore 'Christian Apologetics', which is the intellectual defence of the Christian faith. There are many videos on KZbin that dive into this topic.
@alicedeen7208 ай бұрын
@@thestreetchurchnz Hey, many thanks for replying. Yes, I am familiar with 'Christian Apologetics' and its problems. I do not know what you think but many apologetics are dishonest. They cherry-pick and present only the positive of their views. Interestingly there are Muslim and Hindu apologetics that also try to perswaude a person when the evidence is poor. I mean are you persuaded by Muslim apologetics? I wonder why a god who wants a relationship needs people to bend the facts and truth so the gullible believe in it? That makes no sense to me. Happy to hear why apologetics is better than a plain reading of the Bible. Thanks

what is the cult? the standard is in the bible~not from a video, don't judge ppl,Also, please show the mistakes in the doctrines of the Shincheonji Bible Teachings.
@redpillman9663 Жыл бұрын
Sure. The doctrines of SCJ that the Royal Priesthood/Elect aka 144k will come from SCJ are contradicting what Peter said in 1Peter and what Paul said in Romans11. These gospels also prove that SCJ’s doctrines of ethnic/physical Israelites was replaced by Spiritual Israelites aka Christians, then replaced by New Spiritual Israelites aka SCJ is completely false. There you go. Based on your definition, SCJ is indeed a cult since it contradicts the Bible.

Am moses from Africa shincheonji is not a cult as you have mentioned, formally in Africa we had our traditional way of worship later on Europeans brought christianity to Africa, they tought biblical history and the prophecy and the fulfilled realities of Jesus and also today its shincheonji that is teaching prophecy and fulfillment of the new testament. those who cannot testify revelation come out and say shincheonji is a cult. come out and testify revelation and show its realities like how apostle paul testified.

The fact is that you don't have truth in you. Can you explain your church member's Prophecies and fulfillment and the Book of Revelation? Or Book of Revelation is not there in your Bible? You Say sheep-like believers yourself but you are a goat? Do you know Rev 1:1 Revelation of Jesus Christ how deep is your knowledge in Bible as a pastor how you are leading your members in order for them to have eternal life and to be in the Kingdom of Heaven? You can influence people who don't know the Bible but Who knows the Bible who reads it and understand it you can't influence wrongly to them
