First time I've ever seen the 9-pin version, so it's taking a little getting used to! Other than bragging rights, is there any difference in scoring between a "clean" strike or spare and a regular strike or spare?

This is really cool, but as a 10-pin bowler, not a candlepin bowler, why are they checking their slide every time? Is it due to having to have that long slide, and any "hiccup" would ruin a shot?

Wanted to make a correction re: Putnam Street KotH. The tournament directors will call lobs from the back. You get a warning the first time you get caught, then pins are deducted
