I noticed a small error at timestamp 49:22 regarding the findings from Loftus and Palmer’s research. The mean estimated speeds for 'hit' and 'contacted' are flipped. It should be 'hit' with 31.8 mph and 'contacted' with 34.0 mph. I thought to point it out for anyone reviewing the material. Thanks again for the handy content!

🤣🤣🤣It's definitely not the most enjoyable activity. My honest advice would be to just maintain intensity in your revision sessions. Give yourself rests, give yourself breaks, so then you're motivated to smash out more revision. In the moment of the exam, your controlled stress will cause you to remember much more than you think it will. So you can trust that you'll actually remember it, as long as you put in the work though.

Another example for acknowledgement of free will can be seen with quality of life therapies, where individuals are encouraged to become more aware of their own feelings and emotions. They are able to exercise free will to be more conscious of the present and use this to increase their levels of happiness. To be more specific, Seligman's (2002) theory of signature strengths suggests that there are 24 character strengths including curiosity, fairness and honesty. Each individual has all of these strengths and should be encouraged to nurture and develop them to improve their well-being. These have been collated into the VIA Classification of Character Strengths and Virtues (Peterson and Seligman, 2004), and further developed into an online self-report questionnaire.

Hi there! Hope this video is well received, I missed a couple of details: From the WJEC website, more intricately: The pleasant life: activities focused on positive emotions that make us feel good, for example eating your favourite food or listening to your favourite song. 2. The good life: engaging in activities that absorb us and help us to reach a state of flow. This includes focusing on our signature strengths, having positive relationships with others and working towards achieving our goals. 3. The meaningful life: this refers to the state of fulfilment we get from using our character strengths for a deeper purpose. For example, we might use our strengths to help campaign for an issue we feel strongly about, like the environment. One example of the ‘good life’ can be seen in the key positive approach concept of 'flow’, developed by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (Mihaly C. for short) . This means reaching the state of being fully engaged in an activity. Different activities lead to a flow state for different people. It needs to be a balance between the level of challenge the activity presents and the skills we have to deal with. Again, cross-reference everything with your revision notes, existing powerpoint slides from your teachers, or with your teachers themselves. It should be sufficient, since they are only 4-markers, but if you can write quickly, concisely and cohesively it doesn't hurt to be thorough with your detail, but not excessive, where it may hurt the structure of your answer. Knowledge of the assumptions will come in handy for other types of exam questions too, so it doesn't hurt to have some extra reading/knowledge under your belt.
