Seriously thinking of discontinuing my cable TV as the programs are becoming less and less entertaining and repeat shows are becoming a norm. Dr.Pol is one of the last TV shows that was not only entertaining but was educational. TV is not what it used to be and I, for one, am ready to cut the cable.

He just said his opinion and that he doesn't like electric vehicles and the reason why. It's like being mad at someone for not liking the same colour as you do.

I´ve never understood why all the electric cars have to be futuristic gadgets and try to be smart watches combined with smart phones on wheels. Why do we have to download apps for the benefit of he car, connect our smartphones with the software of the car to download mandatory apps when all a lot of people wanna do ist just to get into a car and drive? Why do Electric cars need big touchscreen displays I have to open, click, point, touch or swipe when all I wanna do is to drive to the next mall to get some milk and fresh bread? That concept might be entertaining and funny for the younger generations of drivers that are more interested about the resolution of the touch screen and if it is capable to display the map to the next Starbucks in 4K instead of the car they sit in, but for a great number of people older than 40 all the connectivity, widescreen, mandatory app nonsense and similar features of electric cars are just annoying BS that distracts them from driving and seeing and reacting to the real world outside of the car windows. Why has not even one manufactorer of EVs even tried to build an electric car with a digital, but "normal" dashboard with rounded displays, a normal glove box and buttons you have to push "analogue" to ge into different displays, drive modes instead of swiping with some greasy and sweaty fingers over a screen the size of a tablet? Why can I watch netflix on the dashboard tablet of my car, but have no sound options or small speakers at the rear that imitate the motor engine or muffler sounds of a good old ford mustang or corvette? Simple answer: Because all of the 20 somethings and 35 year old CEOs have totally no connection to the "real world" outside of their mostly digital lives. But there are millions of people out there that like to push a lawnmower instead of letting a robot do the job, people that chop wood instead of going to the gym, like to grill steakes over an open fire instead of order food online and most of these people are the ones that would rather drive a car instead of getting into a car like mobility unit that needs to be pampered like a tamagotchi and asks you to "play with its features" for 10 minutes before you can drive to the pond that is just 3 miles away. If companies wouls start to offer a way "dumbed down" version of their electric best sellers, without all these gadgets and features and more focus on imitating a real car instead of drivable computers, I bet millions of petrolheads, car lovers, sceptics and older people would be considering buying it instead of the next 20 gallon gasoline pickup truck!
