You need better camera angles and better close ups! Can hardly see the turtle's!

I know! Will get there. Right now just using my iPhone and sometimes I don’t realize the angles until after I’m done. Learning with each video however!

I just ate my one and only San Marzano tomato that my plant produced so far this summer. It tasted so much like tomato sauce. Ate it in a breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, sausage, onion, jalapeno, tater tots in a flour tortilla. No regrets, would eat again!

Ah can’t wait. Just cleaned up my front lawn which I planted over 25 tomato plants in and it’s going to be a fun year with different varieties!

Nice walkthrough. Why are the garden beds soil so sandy?

I ordered 7 yards of what was suppose to be a mix of compost and top soil…. Unfortunately it came like this. Needless to say I was disappointed but focusing on improving soil health… and never use that company again.. Thanks for comment!

Had a pet Eastern Box Turtle growing up. She helped me find peace in life just by watching her everyday. Such calm and peaceful creatures ❤

There is something decompressing about watching the simplicity of these animals. Very rewarding being involved in producing more for the limited supply here in Canada 😌

You were recommended to watch in my KZbin feed. I thought I would watch on a wild hair. I think you did a great job with your delivery and the educational content. The finesse will only improve as you grow your channel. I always hated reptiles until I started watching some of the Big Dog's in the hobby. Now I love them even though I'll never be able to own one.

Need to see the feet to answer, turtles can swim, tortoises can't. You need to present all the information for someone to make and educated decision.

@@Kalebsnaturechannel sorry my friend, Google that s#!t, box turtles can swim, just because they don't doesn't mean they can't.

I can’t see why either brother I really can’t ! I tell everybody that asks me about them all the time when they find out i’m the reptile guy lol Thanks for the one in three people in America statistic. I appreciate that and I will definitely use that. 💯 I tell people that ask me about the big snakes that more people in America are killed by horses and they are by snakes

Did you know that the evolution of Cobra's spitting venom is directly correlated to their proximity to humans. Also our brains are literally wired to see snakes more than other animals because when we were monkeys, we'd be eaten a lot by snakes. It's why you can see a stick and think it's a snake for a second while walking. My point is, it's a deeply rooted biological reaction more so then other less grounded fears.

Super cool! Apparently exposure as a child deeply impacts it as well. First time I’ve heard the monkey theory but it makes sense!

@animalsarecool1228 yeah its theorized that some snake's camouflage evolved to directly compete with our ability to see them. Its pretty cool stuff. PBS eons has a cool video about it i think
