I have no idea why you would think that, but it IS in fact on Extreme, and with no HUD or upgrades.

I thought that when I first looked at it, because I assumed you can only grapple off the gondola or the cable supports. Once I saw that the grapple reticule readily fixates on the cables, I knew it would be doable.

I'm not sure to be honest. It's been some time since I played the game, and I left off with Valhalla not being completed by the time I started Mirage. In my old age I've fallen prey to the having a hard time getting games completed syndrome due to being distracted by other things.

Back when I was playing this game I always went back and forth between Amita and Sabal, and I even switched up whom I started out with on subsequent playthroughs. So I pretty much tried every mission with each of them.

I worked at LeBernardin for 1.5 years. For openers, Michelin stars go to the restaurant, not the proprietor. Mr. Ramsay does have some spectacular restaurants, but his filleting "technique" is sloppy and inexact and would get him re-trained or fired at any restaurant with professional standards.. I also think it's amusing he implies that the restaurant, vs the chef owning, operating, and hiring for it is where the Michelin accolades belong. If he really does have any noteworthy restaurant experience, I can see how and why it ended. LOL

Is that a question or a complaint? I will say the frustration of this part of the game for me is you cannot go through the big golden gates at the end. I also verified that by watching another person's video of this same area whom discovered the same thing. It seems to be just a small area for looting and a boss that teleports. I also found only one key, so the whereabouts of the key for the other treasure room remains a mystery to me.

@@BennieBrunink I'm not sure if there's another medallion somewhere to open that other room. It could be we are meant to choose which one we want to open. Or it could even mean if there IS another medallion, the golden gates might open via opening both rooms. As for the flipped maze, that might be just something to confuse your visual memory. They play a lot of mind tricks in this game with walls that dematerialize, worlds that have multiple layout versions, and puzzles. I have to say the procedural rendering of worlds and creatures keeps it interesting though, making it feel like a first playthrough each time.

Alt kill? That could mean anything from best weapon mod power, which some call alt fire, or alternate way of killing it, in which case alt would have to mean other than the normal way. At any rate, here I used the Twisted Arbalest and Enigma. Mods for each are shock tethers for Enigma, and Guardian Sword for Twisted Arbalest, which targets each enemy you've hit with primary fire up to five.

@MrFragManiac alternative way to kill them, many bosses in both remnant 1 and 2 have a special reward if you kill a boss in Its alternative way. Do a Google search on it and it will make the game more replayable.

You just choose to do the mission for Samal instead of Amita. In other words, go to the S on the map instead of A.

@samw2670 It depends on your point of view. If you're used to the default render mode that makes everything overly dark, blurry, and void of much color, then yeah, it might look too bright to you. Many of us here if you notice the comments however prefer Insane render mode.

@@MrFragManiac ruins the aesthetic of GOW. Suppose to be dark and gloomy. Its a horror game after all.

@@samw2670 Well, like I said, it's a matter of preference and opinion. The devs wouldn't be offering several different render modes if they felt it's "supposed" to look a certain way. They leave it up to the player, which I think shows they're understanding that not everyone is going to like that look. IMO there's a LOT more to horror than just the lighting, and if it took dark lighting just to set a mood, there would be something gimmicky about the need to use it to feel immersed.

@@samw2670 you're assuming that it was so grey cause of artistical choices but most of the time the filters were used to hide problems(not that i find it bad) gears of war 2 for example use another filter with more colors

@thatguyyouknowtheone4073 Actually it's not as hard as I made it look. For some reason I can often handle the boss fights that everyone says are the toughest battles easier. It's usually because I'm too busy keeping track of multiple foes to remember to use the Force Powers. The ones like Lift, Slam, and Confuse can keep you from getting overwhelmed.

@over9000lord Thanks, yeah I barely caught the bottoms of the 3 green shields at the end. I'm not sure whether I would have been able to do another double jump after that last wall run before dashing though. Many times I've just fallen with such attempts.😧

@ghost-boy386 I've yet to see any that are, and I've completed over half of them. I don't know why Caij stopped giving me bounty missions, but I assume it's because I've not done the final boss fight yet. As most say it's the performance and stability problems that are the main issue with the game. It's actually getting worse for me. I used to get no crashes, but I got 2 last session and there were places that were causing artifacts badly just turning around.

I've yet to finish the game due to having bought 5 others on a holiday sale after building a new rig, but I'm anxious to get back to it now that I have an OLED display that has pretty much 0 input lag.

@MrFragManiac yeah, no matter what angle i looked at it, they were different. I got it though, the video stil helped cuz i had difficulty with the turn but forgot about using the grapple

@@slwgekte Great that you got it anyway, and glad that the video helped.👍 I'm still having a hard time figuring what it must have looked like. I've never seen any of the wingsuit rings laid out any differently for other's on vids of theirs I watched after completing them all.

@kevinbuchanan67 Thanks, I'm not 100% sure there isn't an easier way. I've seen some do this section by running past the 4th guy I sneak killed to sneak kill the Summoner instead, which takes less ammo. I'm not sure that's possible on Hardcore mode though. My mind's telling me I vaguely recollect seeing their vids before and trying it that way and failing on Hardcore, but my mind tends to play tricks on me for some time as I get older. I'll probably try it their way on Hardcore and Professional next play through just to see.

That would take all the fun out of it IMO. I don't feel it's too hard to lure her to smash down the doors, and the whole point of playing these types of games is to experience some good old shock value. 😉

@@MrFragManiac I was only just trying to help you guys completely the tomb mission quicker that’s all sorry look be careful then because those Berserkers are too deadly to be near around but trust me at least using the grenades can get those stupid doors out of our way quicker as long as we aim them and throw them right next to the steel doors and then kaboom the doors fall down and we can get to each room and then into the courtyard to lunch the Hammer on her in pentyl time to spare oorah all the way.

@@drewharding I save my grenades for sealing up emergence holes. I've beaten the game on Insane, from what's shown in the video, do I LOOK like someone that's scared of a blind monster and needs to waste grenades? Just git gud dude!

@@MrFragManiac I've beaten the game on insane a few times, it's more fun to use the hammer for a split second then kill her with grenade tagging.

Usually if loading the last checkpoint doesn't fix the problem it means that checkpoint save has been corrupted. If playing on PC you can try doing a SFC scan, but chances are it won't fix the problem. Your only way around it if that save is corrupted is likely to replay the whole mission.

In my head I was thinking of dialog responses from the squad when Baird ends, his Berserker tutorial with "..she can SMELL us." Then one of the guys says, "Do we smell good?", and Marcus replies, trust me, you DO NOT want to smell "GOOD" right now!"

Yeah, sorry, it's my 2nd time through the game and I didn't think the conversation would be that interesting to viewers. Honestly, the stuff Robo says during just minor side missions is more amusing though.
