This is the most useless part of Melrose, its the pretentious West Hollywood side. The best part of Melrose has always been between Fairfax to La Brea, but now thats a warzone.... so many businesses closed. Shame whats happened to LA.

Lived in Hollywood for years but I haven't even visited since 2017 so it's very interesting to see a little of what's still around, like the delicious Los Tacos, 7 11s that will be there after Armageddon still serving a Dystopian but ever Thirsty Citizenry, Stella Adler the place that I did Sound for a very Annoying Show! What I can't believe is that what used to be The French Market doesn't appear to have been reoccupied and turned into something new. When I saw it on my trip back in 2017 it was just emptied out. Now it looks like something from a Horror Movie!! What I do miss about Hollywood the most is that on Santa Monica Blvd you can Walk for miles back and forth with plenty of interesting shops and places to visit, staying in shape, while not seeming like some Weirdo just for walking up and down the street Ahhh Hollywood, my Hollywood...

There is definitely such a thing as an upscale rather “stroady” neighborhood that looks a lot like this wherever you go in the world. Streets might not be as wide. They all have a very similar look. This walking tour could be in virtually any developed country-except the model of the cars strongly suggests North America. Everything is clean, well kept, orderly, peaceful, and flaunts the not so subtle allure of opulence everywhere you turn. You know you’ve made it when your life lands you in a place that looks like this. It’s great to be able to fit into this part of the world of the rich, famous, and glamorous-the American Dream-I love it; it’s not a dream for everyone it’s a dream come true for a select fortunate few. The rest of us can still dream and imagine being there in videos like this one.
