As madara became the 10 tails jinchurici, if it was to be extracted from him he would die. According to the anime if the tailed beast is remove from the jinchurici than they die.

@@sojerx267 Because Gedo Mazou was also extracted. Kurama said that the husk of 10 tails contain a lot of life force hence why he said Obito and Rikudou won't die (until Madara later summon the Mazou but by then Obito also already casted Rinne Tensei)

People here are not like listening to hashirama that deeply he just explained in his way that if the ideology is good than it will be continue by others even without making them continue it, they would eventually realize that this ideology is the right one while madara failed because his ideology is different than hashirama, Hashiramas work is continue by many of the shinobi just as watching Kakashi who is ready to kill his own best friend for the sake of village when no solution is left (Adult Obito I am talking about) there are a lot of example while who ever follows Madara footstep is just getting toward the wrong side
