The s4 which looks like a b8 or 8.5 to me had the advantage in that he got to mash the pedal and be in a good gear before the rs4 even knew he was going to pull away, 330bhp is more than enough to pull on a b7 rs4 that isnt ready, it also sounds like the rs4 isn't giving all too, also how do you know the s4 hasn't got a very simple pully mod bringing him up to near 400bhp? Or a tune on top of that? Not to mention the fact that if the rs4 isn't maintained well then it might only be running anywhere in the region of 380bhp, just because you in an rs4 that doesn't mean an s4 isn't going to smash you because a b8 with a simple tune and pully mod will

s25117 not sure! It’s always had KW v3 coilovers since I’ve owned it - I’ve never experienced the stock suspension. It rides extremely well though - very comfortable ride.

Good to meet you by the track on the day! Got to ask though; in the 26 page spread on the event in the magazine, how come RS246 got just one small pic? Lots of forum members upset by our treatment (we always get placed well out of the way), despite our commitment to the event over many years, and high quality of vehicles on the stand

John Meikle the only way to clean the caked on carbon on the RS4 is to physically remove the intake, and either clean by hand or walnut blast. This works. I have yet to see any evidence that a solvent or hydrogen clean can produce the same results.

MPG? Not a clue I’m afraid! It only gets used for track days

It’s on ST XA coilovers, mostly stripped out, caged, R32 rear ARB, decat, S2000 air filter, custom remap to around 265hp (by a guy called WaK here in the UK), mocal oil cooler, powertrak haldex insert, carbotech pads, grooved discs. I’ve done a few more bits since the video, but the lost above is the main stuff. It was on road tyres at the time - I also have a set of semi slicks on lightweight 17” wheels

Faisal Javaid pay about £30 on eBay, no need to buy the forge one... and not a bad fit! Really makes all the difference. Cheapest mod I've done!
