The statement “ Egyptian Arabic in particular “ is incorrect. The singer is of Egyptian origin. But the dialect was NOT. For example. Egyptians pronounce J as G. So Ajnabee would be Agnabee

It's a detailed reaction video we've been waiting for. I don't know why the word GLITCH is being used in abundance, since it refers to some weakness or faulty thing. The song is no doubt dealing with either time travel, or multi dimensions/parallel universe , or deja vu. For the exact meaning, one needs to explore through the creator's ideology behind. Anyways excellent reaction indeed.

Magdi and Chirag are mega stars in Norway, and belong to the top lyricist. In 2022 they sold out 10 concerts in a month on Norway's biggest stadium. People are still becoming very emotional when talking about it. Karpe has given a name to the Genre they perform. They call it Diaspora pop Please share your thoughts to the link I will leave below . It is: OMAR SHERIFF - BARAF/FAIRUZ - Live from Oslo Spectrum Arena, August 2022 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKC0fmywj7F6iLMsi=KRexncBlWls-nigL

Hijras have had a lot more acceptance, respect, and recognition in Pakistan than in the past. The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act was passed in 2018. Since then, the progress has not been anywhere ideal but it certainly has inched forward!

"Lett å være rebell i kjellerleiligheten din" is also an amazing older song from Karpe, but it's not texted in English and is kinda pointless without a good translation. Baraf/Fairus is truly amazing and in many ways an "anthem" for immigrant children.

The English singer Rehma, the girl is second generation American Pakistani. This is Coke studio's inclusiveness. They are adding in the Diaspora in this experience as well. Although sharing the same roots, the American Pakistani, or British Pakistani, or Australian Pakistanis are all different from each other and Pakistan born Pakistanis. They are opening doors to the land of their ancestors and welcoming them to come and experience the culture first hand.

@22.06. In response to A.Billie's inquiry in regards to the Train symbolism, in Urdu language we use this as a reference to missed chances. For example, "ubb tau gaarrhi nikal gayi" , "waqt ki gaarhi agay nikal gayi aur woh peechay reh gaya". So literally, and metaphorically a leaving train signifies missed opportunities, chances, relationships.....
@fareehamiandara69653 ай бұрын
Urdu is originally from Turkish word Ordu which means Lashkar or military encampment. The three biggest influences in setting the flavor of the language were Turkish, Arabic, and Persian, and within Persian and Turkish the Turkic set of languages and dialects that came along. This was the Othmani Caliphate influence on the Muslim world. The basic frame work was taken from the local language, Prakrit, and woven with the languages mentioned above. Thus a lingua franca came into existence and since it originated within the encampments of the Muslim armies it was given the name Ordu which later became Urdu.

This song is an affirmation of feminine worth in a male dominated society. All the don'ts are for women, so the women are finally saying maghron laa, like good riddance, no more. I am not taking this cultural and societal BS anymore. I Am, and enough for myself, and not worried anymore about what others dictate, or think about me. The celebration is of her self acceptance....

You are right. Urdu is the most aesthetic language in Asian continent. It was developed by linguists with a lot care by keeping in mind the need of having one language as a medium to communication for a very diverse population who spoke different languages. Also, the language expert provide solution to the limitations that other languages have. For examples Persian, Arabic and Sanskrit are missing some sounds/alphabets. Urdu have all of them which were missing in these of language to incorporate all sounds.
