I have been reading and listening to Arabic + English recitation of the Qur’an and it has reignited my belief in God. I might be mistaken, but I truly feel that out of all of the religious texts I have read, the Qur’an is the one that treats women the best. Not to mention it has countless “Quranic miracles”, wonderfully told stories, hard hitting messages, and sometimes even a genuinely funny sense of humor. With all due respect, What Islam is today doesn’t feel like what was being promoted within the book I read and continue to read often. This has driven me to dig and try to piece together why such a beacon of hope, love, and care would appear to be tied to such oppression around the world. Something isn’t adding up 🤔 Maybe I’m wrong, but I just want to know the Truth.

Some of the doctrines, while they conflict with Ahlus Sunnah Islam, were extraordinarily transformational. For how many years was he a Mason? Not much is said about this.
