Interesting video. I'm from Denver and used to fly to Detroit every week on a United contract commuter airline. Planes were usually ERJ-145's and CRJ-100/200 - very uncomfortable little planes. It looks like they've upgraded the DIA commuter terminals. I always wanted to fly on the BAe 146, but never had the opportunity.

SeatGuru still doesn't have Delta's A321neos on their website, I probably would've booked that on accident too. Solid video though! The effort and quality felt like a larger channel's! I have an upcoming flight on this same route and type lmao

Thank you! I used to use SeatGuru, it feels like they have really stopped trying to keep things up to date, but I haven't had any problems with SeatMaps yet!

I live in Denver. I agree, Denver is one of the best airports to connect thru....but flying out from Denver and going thru security is NO FUN. the lines are long and terrible. Apparently there have been some improvements, mind you I havent flown in roughly a year, but still I feel Denver is much better to connect thru.

Interesting they do a no flaps takeoff, even out of Telluride. I’ve flown on both 328 variants but not behind the wing. They’re nice birds, and I always loved their uniqueness.

The highest airport in US is in Leadville Colorado not Telluride Colorado
@PlaneStuffnThings11 күн бұрын
Right, Leadville is the highest elevation public airport, but it doesn't have any commercial service, which leaves Telluride as the highest elevation commercial airport.

This was a great watch, well done! I like your commentary. Was positive and you were unfazed by anything. Would be great to see the mountains. I learned something. Didn't know TEX was so high up and has a runway on a cliff! I looked up 328JET too. What a neat machine that sadly didn't sell well.

Thank you for a nice video. I'm going to fly Air France A318 next week for the same reason as you. I think Tarom is keeping theirs in operation until they get the delivery of 737 Max, which I'm sure will take a couple of years, while Air France is gradually replacing theirs with A220 and this year might be the last😢
@PlaneStuffnThings5 ай бұрын
I hope it goes well! :) I had tried to grab an Air France A318 initially but Air France swapped it out with an A320 last minute. Thankfully I still got this one!

I see they still practice the crazy noise abatement even when flying out into the city vs toward the ocean from Orange County. It is known by pilots to be the one of the most challenging airports to fly in and out of in the country due to the abatement manuevers and glide and also the extreme small runway. Orange County should have bought out Tustin Marine Base when it closed and expand that to a full international airport. Instead they were to build a regional park that never materialized but has built a 10 acre animal shelter.

Yeah it kind of sucks JWA is stuck as small as it is, could have grown to be a really nice alternative to LAX.
