Thanks so much Catherine!! I never would've guessed you were an author. ( I thought you were a concert pianist. I've been dazzled by your piano versions of classic metal songs.) Reprobation sounds great. Finding and reading it just went to the top of my priority list. <3

I forget to watch this live last night. So glad I could watch it later. I could listen to Peter May talk about his books all day. I think I’ve read every one of his books & they are all very good. I will be purchasing the new one & maybe reading the trilogy again first to remind myself of the characters.

Do not ever accept a cup of coffee from Chris Speck. He spikes people for his own very warped entertainment. He and his paedophile friend James Tranmer dosed me on Westbourne Avenue in 2005. I have no idea how on earth he is still working as a teacher.

I love John's books. Just reading several again after a pause of a couple of years. Excellent interview. Interesting that he extensively rewrites. His books do seem boiled down and distilled to a clear essence.

I returned from holiday on Saturday afternoon. Started Christie's book The Raven's Mark on Sunday and finished it the same day. As i'd said to Christie, theres only 3 authors thst i've read the first book of a series in one read. They are Lisa Jewell, Tony Kent and now Christie! Absolutely brilliant book where you are constantly kept on edge. Starting second book today.
