Ok, I know this is 2 years old, but I don't like when misinformation is spread around, so im gonna do this, the first thing is, the inputs are correct for the infinite, but the execution presented is completely wrong, what does that mean? it means you presented a loop and not an infinite, the infinite is the same inputs, but it looks different, yes you do 3H and cancel into 624H, as they fall, you press 5M and repeat from 3H, but the delay on the 5M is off, when done correctly, the 5M hits the opponent in a grounded standing state, meaning, on the ground as if he was getting hit on the ground, but you presented the idea that its a juggle, the true infinite is not a juggle, is a glitched state where the 5M connects on the grounded opponent even after the launcher, the reason being, because the 3H launches the opponent to the air, and the grab has a property that when the opponent is near it would put them in a freeze state, not a juggle or freefall state, its a freeze state, it saves the frame where the grab should have landed and if the grab is not possible because the opponent is on the air, then the next hit happens normally, but it only happens on 3H and grab, because only 3H has enough frames to allow for the game to flag that the opponent is about to be grab while simultaniously not being grabbed. The true infinite is that, a true infinite, you can still megacrash, but you will be combo to death without a chance to escape if done correctly, what you show here is the juggle loop, mind you, the loop already has a big count in terms of how much damage you can do with it, but is not really its purpose, the real purpose is to set up for something better, you see, frank west has this particular combo where launches you and then OTG with a shopping cart, this combo is distance specifcic, the best way to set it up for when the distance is not optimal, is to go into a single rep of the launching loop, which would put you into the optimal distance for the cart loop, which, more often than not, it would kill, since it is a high damaging combo that can easily deal above 48 billion damage. The person in the footage is kbeast, he is not a frank main, you can leave that to my friend james when it comes to frank west, you can watch footage of him performing the combo in tournament if you search for tatsunoko vs corona tournaments.

Thanks for the informative comment! I made this video over the course of an afternoon, so not much research went into this one other than remembering during a visit to the lab. Figured it'd make for a neat little watch while on the pisser, considering it's pretty easy.

@@RGV_FALCO If you're interested, there's a few more true infinites in the game, saki has one against roll she also has a loop that is technically an infinite since it is an unblockable infinite loop that is also inescapable and kills with 1 meter, ryu has one with tiger knee tatsumakis, but its frame perfect and it is basically a 1 frame special move link, roll has an infinite against big bodies, namely tekkaman, alex and soki, morrigan has an infinite but it is not about frame perfect, its a speed check, since she needs to double air dash cancel into a jM, but it's harder than doing the fastest recorded shine infinites on smash melee, ptx has a cheesy infinite but you can mash out of it, and everyone with a rapid jab has an infinite if you perform the joe the condor glitch to make him into an unpushable wall.

I get the whole idea of a parry, but a mechanic in a game that takes AWAY control from one player and gives it to another??? well thats just unamerican. Shoutouts Evanescence for the song "Bring me back to life" I've never died but I imagine this is a good glimpse at what that might look like

It's literally fourth remy guide i watched this week but i watch low tier guides for atmosphere and aesthetics because everyone has a different approach of telling people about the same character Maybe the only thing i can really complain about is absence of time codes

Aw man that's exactly the same way I feel about Low Tier character guides, they are the most passionate fans! Also, I thought KZbin automatically did time codes if you put 'em in the description (And I could've sworn this video had them too). Thanks for letting me know :)

@@RGV_FALCOoh ok , they actually in the descriptions, but the phone app doesn't show it on the timeline And also not only passionate fans but also skillful Because when u win the character with a bad toolset u just purely outplay ur opponent (most of the time, and if it's not based on constant knowledge check i guess, but remy even lack gimmicks lol).

This was such a great tutorial, man! I was trying to play Remy recently and I thought I could just "wing it", considering I play the game at an intermediate-to-decent level with other characters, and boy was I wrong. I clearly have no idea about Remy's strategy. This tutorial gives me some nice ideas, so I hope I'll be able to have a pocket Remy in the future!

This was very nicely done. I’ve been tempted to play Remy if I get into Third Strike, despite how bad he’s said to be. And I love the music choices you went with for this video. Sonic Mega Collection and Xenoverse 2 music is based.

Yoooo thank you!! Remy's weaknesses only become an uphill battle at higher/more intermediate levels of play, so don't fret too much about picking him or any other character when starting out! There's plenty of system guides and character resources around for you when you DO get into the game, which I think is necessary seeing as how it's not a very TRADITIONAL Street Fighter. Good luck in advance!! Also, I'm glad you liked the BGM selections lol, I always try to sprinkle in some underrated bangers whenever I can. I think the world deserves to give 'em a listen :)

At 23:34. How do you Kara-Cancel Down-Up charge from a Standing normal? There can't possibly be enough time to charge! Oddly enough I don't need the Kara-Cancel to combo Flash Kick off of a throw in the corner but I still wanna know.
@RGV_FALCO
@RGV_FALCO Жыл бұрын
The kara-flash kick is only required on Yun, Yang, Dudley, Oro, and Ibuki. As for doing the kara-flash input, just charge flash kick like normal, then move your stick to the neutral position in time to input a Standing MP, (the game will keep your charge for a short time when returning to neutral position) then continue with the flash kick motion inputting up and heavy kick as fast as you can. It's a bit tricky to get the neutral position bit down, but it'll definitely help with these already bad matchups. For any other techniques, please refer to the links in the description. Hope this helps, thank you!

If you have a laptop or computer (even if its an older or weaker one) with ethernet capabilities (There are adapters available if not), I recommend trying out Fightcade 2! It has the most active online 3rd Strike player base with hundreds of new players asking for matches daily in the chat. There are many plugin options for training mode as well (hitboxes, record functions, input history, charge timings) that make it a lot easier to understand the game, especially under the hood. If you're really interested in learning stick, I'd say start with keyboard first to get at least sort of familiar with the 6 button layout of an arcade stick. As for practicing charge inputs, it's really just practicing the least amount of time you need to charge back and know precisely when to throw a fireball they can't avoid/will make contact with at the very least, similar to pre-firing in FPS games. In the description, I've listed many more guides involving charging (I recommend Bafael's charge buffering explanation video), as well as an in-depth written guide hosted on wiki.supercombo.gg for not only Remy, but for all of 3rd Strike's systems, characters, and mechanics; ranging from common knowledge, to the most obscure! I really appreciate you checking out not only the video, but fighting games as a whole! This one's a toughie, but there are definitely other fighting games that you should check out eventually! Fundamentals carry over more than one would think. Thank you!!!
