Excellent job on the rod holder. I’m looking for a solution, not many good ones out there. I wish you had more details around the connection to attach them in the truck

Young man, I am not easily impressed by anything the younger generation is doing today - BUT you are a bright exception. You were presented with a challenge, and came up with a beautifully simplistic and practical solution that utilized common materials and in an economical way. Bravo! Your stretch cord concept was brilliant, and I intend to steal the idea! Well done!

I'm trying to do the same thing, but trying to figure out what he used to put on the hangers. Closest thing I found are D-ring mounts, but I'm sure the wood will sway while driving. Got any pics of how you did yours?

@@tracereed7457 I actually found the exact canvas hangers he used. He's posted them in the comments. I got some old rod holders I don't use, thinking about using the foam inserts, just trying to figure out how to set it up.

Put your subs about a foot away from your tail gate so it hits harder and put a storage container behind it so you can put your tackle in it and don't have to worry about messing up your speakers

For future reference, if you point either a point of the nut or a flat spot of the nut directly at the set screw hole in the handle when tightening, when you go to put the nut cap on, the set screw holes will be lined up 100% of the time.
