So far it has worked on third party modules as well, including Wilson Combat.

Bought one of Andre’s jigs and the cut was perfect on my xcarry grip module! Took me less than 2 mins to cut out the slots and the FCU seated perfectly. Just ran through 200 rounds no problem! Thank you!

UPDATE: Just used Andre's jigs and they are FANTASTIC! Go order one ASAP if you mod grip w/ a manual safety. I did a standard polymer and a TXG grip, extremely easy and barely an inconvenience

Good stuff, ordering one now. Side note, have you done a TXG frame and how hard was it?
@WestCoastChainmail2 ай бұрын
I've done two TXG modules and they are pretty easy. I go slow with the drill since these are a little more brittle than the straight polymer, but the jig supports the module well so the risk is very low.

Just purchased one - will update here once it arrives - if these don't work with it I'll make a variation that does!
@WestCoastChainmail4 ай бұрын
Confirmed today that they do work on the Wilson Combat grip modules. Note, however, that if you have a magazine disconnect on your FCU, you will either need to remove the MD or modify the grip module slightly to make room for it since it doesn't fit out of the box. If you don't have the magazine disconnect (or remove it from your FCU) then it fits pefectly.

where can I find the parts to make a slide rail?
@WestCoastChainmail Жыл бұрын
The rail is just an 80/20 aluminum extrusion (www.8020.net). The pads are also from 8020. The sled itself is custom made, but is really just a 1/8" aluminum plate with some holes drilled and tapped in strategic locations to attach the pads and the hose clamps for holding the drill.

Andre, do You by chance have a materials list for Your latest version of the coiling rig?
@WestCoastChainmail2 жыл бұрын
80/20 track can be found here 8020.net/2012.html The sled is just a piece of 1/8" x 2" aluminum strip. On the bottom of the sled, I originally used bearing pads and t-nuts, but if I were building it today I would probably use these: 8020.net/6798.html Beyond that it's just hose clamps, rollers, and pieces of a plastic cutting board plus nuts and bolts and screws.

@@WestCoastChainmail, nobody says..but the most dificult thing is find a way to cut stainless steel rings, wth both ends flat...please make a video showing tipe, size and what material is made the right saw..e where we can buy it..in a good and fair price..
@WestCoastChainmail4 жыл бұрын
@@elvisdsr The closest thing you'll find to a consumer price is a ringinator around $500 (plus the cost of a drill to run it). The Ringinator will cut plenty of rings for your personal use, even in stainless, but it does have a learning curve and you have to go slow and steady with the stainless steel. My custom saw I have spent nearly $50K to build, but it has a lot of automation so that I can wind and cut at the same time, as is necessary for my ring-making business. If you want to see my saw, kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGXdnJebas2bfc0

Hello Miron. I like your weave because it is flatter than other ones in other tutorials that are fluffy and the rings stick out. If I can ask you another question, do you know the reason why your weave is flatter, is it because the kind of the rings you use? Please. answer me. Thank you.
