The rooms are the really bad … below 2-star expectations. Mold grows on the wallpaper. Cockroach haven. The BIGGEST cockroaches we have ever seen in our lives. Bed clothes not fully changed from guests who stayed in rooms before us. We tried to book reservations at a al carte restaurants as soon as our bags were delivered to our rooms. We were told that there were no reservations available at any time at any of the a al carte restaurants any the nights of our stay. Our first 1+ hour of our vacation was spent arguing and arguing until we got reservations at 3 of the restaurants. We gave up after that. Long lines. Long waits. The pool bar is a mob scene. The resort is understaffed. The majority of the staff seems miserable. I don’t blame them. Food service is dangerous! The inside buffets are smelly. Bugs and birds fly in for food. This place is the worst. We complained and complained …to our useless concierge, on the phone to the lobby, and to the manager on duty. Resort seems incapable of addressing basic issues … or they don’t care … or both. The manager on duty got to a point of trying to explain to us how difficult it was to provide service and supplies to all guests in all rooms every day … a very, very sad open admission of incompetence! An entire vacation wasted. Do NOT ignore the negative reviews. Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere for your vacation.

Group of adults on vacation. Multiple rooms. A few days in we found all mattress covers with stains from guests who stayed in the rooms before us. SO GROSS! This was in addition to the weak AC, poorly operating fridge, and toilets that don't flush. Mold in throughout the bathroom. Furniture that was very old, damage, and if repaired it was repaired very poorly. The bath towel shortage is a real issue. When we escalated all the way to the manager on duty, who is the person who posted the sad form letter canned responses to guest feedback on expedia, that person tried to explain how difficult it was to provide clean bath towels to each guest in each room every day. Nothing but an admission of incompetence!!! Everything is a long wait due to understaffing, which seems to make the employees miserable. Outside of the a restaurant or two, the food is just awful. Unsanitary conditions. The inside buffets smell bad, have flies and birds after the food that sits out for hours and hours with proper maintenance. Food at the outside BBQ is often dangerously rare. Many people ill as a result. This resort is being run by incompetent frauds. They need to sack all of current management, bulldozer everything … maybe sparing the coffee shop and food truck … to the ground, and start all over! DO NOT IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! If you want to ignore any reviews, ignore the many, many, many 5* reviews that are posted on google everyday and during the day for the 'super animation'. DO NOT GO TO GRAND SIRENIS PUNTA CANA!!!

Bring lots of extra strength Pepto Bismol or Imodium so you can make it through an entire super duper animation show without needing to run to the restroom. Otherwise, due to the undercooked, poorly prepared, and unsafely maintained food, you will need to run to the restroom and miss out on the super duper animation. If you need to run to the restroom, you can run to one of the public restrooms on the resort that feel and smell like a sewer line exploded in a sauna. ... or you can run to the toilet in your room that doesn’t flush well and will clog often, which is line with the room AC that may or may not work, which matches well with the dirty and moldy décor of your room.

DO NOT IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! @grandsirenispuntacana ruined our family vacation. Aside from a restaurant or two being ok, the food is awful. Worse … some restaurants have top menu items that cost you extra out of pocket. So much for “all” inclusive. Worse … a member of our group came home with salmonella. Buffets smell bad. Food is poorly prepared and maintained. The rooms are beat up, old, moldy, and not cleaned well. One mediocre beer … served up not very cold. The resort is understaffed. Long lines and waits. Most workers seem miserable. GO TO A DIFFERENT RESORT!

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana ruined our family vacation. Unfortunately, we experienced virtually all of the negative feedback items mentioned elsewhere, including a dump of a room and major stomach illness from undercooked food. What was infuriating was the staff soliciting positive reviews or, worse, taking your cell phone and leaving positive reviews on the resort from your phone. We were solicited for positive reviews. We heard the same from other guests while at the resort. We were warned not to let staff take your cell phone. Each day, every day there are easily 10 to 15 positive reviews on google for ‘super animation’. The resort staff was very persistent on having my phone at check out to ‘check out through expedia app.’ I absolutely refused to hand over my phone, I never logged out through any app, and nothing happened as a result. Save your money and aggravation … READ AND LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Go somewhere else for your vacation!!!
