There are so many things about Whitehall (even though I actually lived in Pipestone) that I will always miss. Awesome people. Beautiful place. I will be back one day.

How far from white hall montana ? Are there any restrooms and what is the rates for tent camping . Also are reservations required. I will be coming from California.

About 100 miles. It's a Forest Service campground so typically $10 to $25 per night. First come, first serve. Restrooms and water are available, in season.

I'll be headed up to Whitehall in late April. My property is at 6000 feet, so it stays cold a few weeks longer then Whitehall. Cheers!!

What services are offered and what are the fees.

As I recall. Water and pit toilets. Fee for seniors was $5.00 / night. Much of the road to the CG is private and is absolutely terrible. Not recommended for vehicles with low ground clearance.

Rick Zolla. Thank you rick for the information. Sounds great . I have a jeep so i e joy rough roads. I'm in California but my daughter lives in Whitehall. Would you know how far that is from there ?

Three or four hours highway and at least an hour on the poor roads to the CG. Check the weather conditions, it might already be snowed-in.
