Does anyone know who this woman is dancing and playing the tamberine? She sure is talented; my gues is that she is one of George Clinton's girlfriends. 00:08:12 - 00:08:39 Here's an interesting documentary on Funkadelic, "Tear the Roof Off: The Untold Story of Parliament Funkadelic | Full Music Documentary" kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYHcf6uggMuFY9k

I know Glen Goines, but who is the singer at the 1:00 mark, also in black with minimal makeup? I've been a Pfunk fan for years but just learning now who all these brilliant singers are.
@cjjaxxon13 сағат бұрын
Oh that's "Shady" Grady Thomas. The one who sings in the baritone (deep) voice you hear on P-Funk songs.

Fortunate to see Muddy twice, both gigs at Mothers Club Brum. Seem to remember 2nd gig he played seated, had an accident of some kind. This would be about 1970.😃😃😃

Everything about the first 60 seconds of this clip is perfection. The initial appearance through the smoke, the fit, the head nod to signal the start of the song, the swagger walk down the stairs, the way he daps his homies, the way he signals to his band mates off screen, the way the lady presents his microphone, and the groove obviously. Just perfect
