You have a gun, you can kill the enemy from a distance. No need to get cheek to cheek with them before shooting. You a champion of compromising the mission. At least learn how to handle it when its compromised. Don't run towards the enemy barricade. Keep it low and Try to lose the tail. Attempt an alternate route.

I remember playing IGI some twenty years ago. I believe you could never play that with these poor skills. take cover when reloading always heads up when walking there is not need to kill every enemy if the mission demands stealth.

Clear the area first then start looting. Snipe guns are not for indoor and shotguns are only good for close range. Don't take the open area to move between locations. Once you are compromised, a submachine gun with a silencer is not useful. Grab a machine gun with higher caliber and larger mag size
