Have listened to this a lot over the years - have to say this is one of my fav American folk performances and allows me to think I’m on some Lomax shit following your channel. More people should! Cheers

@@martintraynor7800 Martin, I appreciate you saying that! I'm glad you like this recording... So much time has passed since I recorded this one... It's like I was a different person at the time. Weird, how time changes people. I'm pretty much always trying to better myself as a father, brother, son, musician. Whatever it may be. Thanks again ✌️

It's true, I've played this song so many times...and I've definitely changed it somewhat even, and if you know the song well you can pick up on those subtle changes I've made... I appreciate you taking the time to make your comment! Means a lot to me, thank you

Thank you... Nah, it's not hard. Just standard Travis picking. If you are new at finger style guitar, it might seem difficult at first, just continue on and practice...you'll get it. 😃

Thank you Scott! For the past few years I've barely ever been using a pick to play... And I'm not using a pick here. It's amazing what a mid range Samsung phone microphone can do when placed on your lap. Technology has come so far! The guitar I'm playing is my beloved Taylor 114e that I've owned for like 16 years now I think. My mom and I went to the guitar shop and I played like 7 guitars of the same model and picked the one I got.
