Late 79 and early 80's, I used to hear this song played on WBCY in Charlotte as I got ready to go to work. I misunderstood quite a few of the lyrics and forgot others over time. Typed in what I thought were the lyrics to search for this song countless times with no luck. I never knew the artist or song's name as they never announced it when the song was played. Just now, around 42 years later, I finally got a hit on the lyrics and found the song again! Thanks for posting it!
