@BrianHallmond I always try to keep my expectations in check since I know how that can ruin things. Though since this game is heavily based on Sukio 1 and 2 I found myself really expecting that level of a game. Was disappointed as a result. Still a great game though I think.

@DragonofDarkness13 I didn't. I am aware of the extra ending, but I didn't like the game enough to play it again after I finished the lets play. Unlike Freedom Planet 1 which I played all the darn time.

@AdeaciaPlays Well, I just think it's a bit slow at the beginning. It's still a good story overall. Yakuza 0 and 6 probably have the best story.

@gullyweaver1714 I meant that the series is one big story. All the games are connected. If you started with 3 then you didn't get the story from the earlier games when you played it. I'm asking if starting halfway into a story made things confusing or not.

I've heard it as "Coo-de-Grahss", so they do pronounce the c there. They kinda seem like they're setting up Lans & Eunie to be a couple, don't they? I guess the problem of starting with crappy equipment doesn't really apply when you start on New Game Plus. Now it's like they start you the best equipment in the game, and while they'll talk about keeping your equipment upgraded, you can never actually upgrade it because everything you find and everything that's for sale is worse! When I played World of Warcraft it had the worst example of animal part loot just not existing on the animal you get it from. An entire savannah full of zebras running around, only 2% of which have heads, hooves, or skin for you to collect, but you'll only know after you've beaten them.

Language is just weird, and one of the things I want most in games is for things in the game to make sense from an in universe perspective. They rarely ever do.

Something that would be useful against Batman in the Arkham games since he hides on gargoyles so darn much in those. He tries to grapple to one and it comes to life to attack him.

I'm not sure if I ever got that cutscene or not. I finished recording all of this awhile ago. If you don't see it in a video, I haven't actually seen it.

@@AdeaciaPlays In that case the main points were as follows: -Riku says that Lucky 7 contains the souls of people close to Melia, the recent artbook confirmed that it’s just Fiora’s soul inside Lucky 7 -Riku’s masterpon is Melia, and she entrusted Lucky 7 to him -Riku is Riki’s son

@Serene_Blue I definitely don't remember that, so I never saw it. That explains where Fiora went, and who Riku is. Kinda figured it was Melia considering the look they share when you rescue her in the main game. I want to know how N has Lucky 7 at the same time Noah does.

35:46 Wow, Georgio’s curry recipe from that random little side quest in Xenoblade 1, ended up being passed down to his granddaughter, then to Matthew in Aionios, and then the curry recipe was passed down all throughout Matthew’s family leading up to Monica over 1000 years later in present day Xenoblade 3, (which was seen in Miyabi’s ascension quest). I love connectivity like that.

It's the little details that can make a big impact like this. You may not think anything of it at first but then when you realize all the connections and that the developers actually thought to do this for such an insignificant thing, makes you realize just how good the writers are.

A cute detail about Linka’s quest is that the “Fried Octomayo” was one of her mom’s (Pandoria’s) favorite pouch items in Xenoblade 2.

I never even considered that she might be Pandoria's kid. I actually forgot about Pandoria even though she was with Zeke all the time.

@@AdeaciaPlays If you compare Linka and Pandoria together they look almost identical. Also, In that case, did you realize that Panacea is Reyn and Sharla’s daughter too? It’s kind of interesting that all of the children of previous Xenoblade characters: Nikol, Glimmer, Mio, Panacea, and Linka all look like their mom’s rather than their dad’s.

@@Tenacious_Tuan No actually. The whole time the only kids I was thinking of in the DLC were from Shulk, and Rex. We never do meet Mythra's kid though. Only Nia's and Pyra's. Unless I also didn't notice that lol

@@AdeaciaPlays Mythra’s child was no where to be found in either the base game or the DLC, even the recently released artbook which answered some lingering questions about Xenoblade 3, didn’t mention anything regarding Mythra’s kid. Which makes me suspect that they’re saving them for a later entry in the future.

@@Tenacious_Tuan Xeno 3 was supposed to be the end of the overall story, but nothing says they can't have a new story that builds off of the old. After all, Future Redeemed brings up Xenosaga and Xenoblade X. Xenosaga itself links to Xenogears with a superboss. I want one story that links everything Xeno.

19:45 These are Tantalese ruins, from the Kingdom of Tantal (The place that Zeke was from), it was called “Lumos Pedestal”, to be specific. There are tons of references to Tantal in the Cent-Omnia region, either through returning ruins like this, or certain landmarks/locations having similar names. I assume future redeemed has so many references to Tantal, to make up for there being almost 0 references to Tantal in the base game.

39:27 In case you didn’t notice, Rex’s swords in Future Redeemed are just replicas, not the original blade weapons he wielded in Xenoblade 2. Unrelated side note- I find it funny that Future Redeemed’s party is: Rex Rex’s daughter Rex’s best friend Rex’s best friend’s son Rex’s sibling in law and Rex’s great great grandson

I did think Rex's swords didn't quite look right compared to how they looked in Xeno 2, but I never bought it up. Makes sense since Pyra and Mythra aren't even in this world. It's like the developers really liked Rex, tying so many characters to him in some way. I'm just happy when I get to see what happens to characters after their story ends.

I did get both characters and did the upgrade quest for one of them. I was working on doing lots of other things in preparation to do a NG+ run but ended up not being able to continue due to time constraints.

Unfortunately to be able to start a chain attack with an Ouroboros order, you have to have an *active* interlink with interlink level 3. Moreover, it has to be a character you are actively controlling.

I don't see why people would do a second playthrough normally. Especially streamers. I could just cut out all the repeat stuff, they can't. It's a main reason I like edited videos, not streams.
