She's working so hard with beautiful results. This is another film where to me it looks like the dancer had trouble with pointe shoes. Sometimes too flexible in front, and when the front is good, the backs are too low for the feet. I hope she gets a better fit soon.

I have to admit as many of WWII documentaries I've seen this was my first time hearing about this awful individual.

Someone needs to do a documentary on historical women who have been demonised throughout history because it's just about all of them. The only constant is how much women have been hated and blamed for everything, including things that were beyond their control. A good example is Elizabeth Báthory, who was subjected to the most dreadful misogyny. Her crime?... lending money to the Royal family, who had no intention of ever paying her back.

One other aspect I found interesting is how it's such a good portrait of what happens when people are bored, isolated, and estranged from the world as happens with these bourgeousie. Especially Edgar's daughter Cathy portrays this very accurately just from the mere lengths she goes to take care of sobbing, unbearable Linton who she, in almost these words: ''loves only because he loves her and gives her something to care for in the world in the form of his illness and ill behaviour.'' And for lack of any other suitors, this affection is quickly transported to Earnshaw. Cathy's permanent challenge in life was finding something to get her out of these houses, or something to give her life meaning. Otherwise, she was basically a puppet wilting away. I was very moved by how you could just feel that she had a lot of love to give to ppl and world but wasnt given opportunity to do so. edit: during her youth. ofc this luckily turns for the better. I think the same isolation enabled the characters in the story, doomed to live only among themselves, to endure so much from each other, and simultaneously hold grudges against each other so enduringly. My first thought was always: why haven't they long killed Heathcliff or called authorities upon him? How can Heathcliff be so obsessed to carry over his revenge for decades? The isolation feeds the tragedy of some deep family, or familial bond (including servants who became just as implicated) that completely destroys the common sense that less isolated people normally wield in human relationships. Anyway, great book. Some of the prose is also pure, pure poetry.

According to Elie Wiesel who was in the camps, many of these h*ex*uals were known for abusing kids! But don't let the truth get in the way of a deciving narrative!

How a nation can be brainwashed and manipulated like puppets by a psychopath is truly astounding all through the appeasement of racial prejudice, a society promised with the delusions of a utopian Germany but were delivered a living hell.

This creep lived until 1992? That, in itself was the appetizer to the place of eternal punishment. He knew what he did and chose to live with it for nearly 50 years instead of using the time to repent and do penance for his sins.

trump's christian nationalists banning books, abortion, going after immigrants and gays. The similarities are terrifying. Hitler repeated "FAKE NEWS" and "MAKE GERMANY GREAT AGAIN." Hitler had easy to remember slogans comparable to "stop the steal" and "lock her up." The hair on my neck is standing up that so many people just ignore what they don't like, everything is overlooked or "explained" "what he meant."

Review some election speeches from 1933 Germany, and the parallels between them and those of the orange felon, should scare you to vote blue, even if you never have done so before.

To all of the dancers who said that Aurelie was a bully in her role of the Paris Opera lead, I say to them, she did not expect anything from ANYONE that she was not willing to give and do, herself. She didn't expect even half as much. People going into the arts now have an entirely different mindset, and I'm not saying that one mindset is more correct than another, I'm just saying that Aurelie was NOT a bully, she was only leading through the same means that she had been taught, and trying to elevate the dancers to the quality she herself achieved

Ive heard many times, the caring professions attract the most socio and psychopaths. Drs, Psychiatrists, and nurses. I believe, if any regime, says hey these prisoners, you can do medical experiments on, youd not have a shortage of Drs who would do whatever in the name of science. Different times maybe not put a patient out of their misery with petrol. But youd find Drs who would go there to be the next medical genius with thd latest discovery. I bet big pharma would have no hesitation testing medications out regardless of the side effects. Power, fame and greed are powerful motivations.

Unpopular opinion, I find Dupont really boring, with ordinary lines, nothing that awes me in her. I never understood why she wears point shoes that don't flatter her feet at all, her career long. Of course she's a great technician but comparing to Marie-Agnès she's just an average dancer, to me.
