Bro thats not the salary of a Doctor. This is incomplete information. She told about the residency salary which is 3 Training years and they pay around 60-65000$ yearly. When thats completed you become an MD and thats when your actual job being a Doctor starts and minimum range of a Medicine Doctor Salary is 200000$-500000$ depending on state and experience. Starting is from 230000$ almost. Let say if you work as hospitalist, the duty days are 7 days on with 7 days off meaning 2 weeks on with 12hours shift daily in a month. For that the take home salary is around 16000$ monthly after tax deduction. And during those off days (which becomes 6 months a year) you can do locum shifts as you want which pays 150$ - 350$ per hour. And you also get 1 month paid vacations every year and almost 1 month of sick/casual/urgency paid leaves collectively if really needed.

My biggest problem with USMLE is that you get "matched" and i dont want to get matched just anywhere.....and ive heard you need connections to get your desired speciality which sucks

You should not use the title of Dr. when you are actually a physiotherapist. This is against the standards of HCPC.

@dukedehlvi9925 you should have search it before whatever you have written in the comment. WHO doesn’t allow physiotherapists to use the Dr. title. However he is working in the UK and he should maintain the standards of HCPC as he accepted those terms to get the registration from HCPC.

As health care professional our goal to treat patients in better way. Not who is using prefix. People with such mentality once said Dentist can not use prefix Dr. 😆

You have to understand and accept the difference between dr. And PT. This is against the law here in the UK to use dr. as a physiotherapist. I don't want him to be engaged in any kind of trouble, my comment was a friendly reminder.
