Rode Johnson on the north side of the lake yesterday and it was the WORST biking experience of my life. How do you climb that much and not have any flowy downhill as a reward? It’s some kind of tortuous parallel universe.

@michaelmichaelagnew8503 Жыл бұрын
In his defense all those people were going extremely slow (Way too slow for a public trail) it was hard for him not too. He wasn't going that fast at all for a mtb'er. Everyone has to share the trail and those who want to move at 1 mile per hour have to make sure they leave room for people moving at normal speed. Allot of these guys were not being considerate for people behind them. I'm pretty slow on a mtb but even at my speed I would have been frustrated with half these people most of them should have been on a normal asphalt trail (not a trail like this it was made for mountain bikers first) which Arlington has had for over 2 decades since the 90's.

I had to slow the video down to 50% speed, and turn off the sound. I can't imagine that you actually rode it at the speed we see. I've ridden that trail in every season of the year, day and night (with a helmet light), and I've only crashed about 3 times. No injuries so far, thank God. And I'm three-score and seven summers in age ! Thanks for posting the video so I can send it to family and friends in CA to see where I ride, because I talk about it a lot.

It was part of a massive trail system that ran All the Way North to Glenview and Fossil Creek and then all the way as far north as Watauga Elementary School
