Thank you for sharing the video. One question (sorry, I am beginner in Taichi) - what is the purpose of creation separate Fajin form? As far as I understand this is only question of manner, not the form and any slow set can be performed with fajin... Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Just referred my Pulmonologist over on Oahu to Master Zeng Chen Dong's classes. I just play soothing music while watching this & turn down the volume on the video, makes it much nicer. Awesome Technique, my Family & I love learning this on Maui from Cory Williams. Much Appreciation. It truly strengthens & balances the body & it looks so much easier than it really is, it really is a wonderful way to "Work Out" consciously & with Mindfulness.

Nice demo; but that god-aweful buzzing sound in the beginning. Sounded like a buzzsaw or a cheap motorbike in need of a new muffler.

Master Dong Zeng Chen (father of my Master) is demonstrating Part I of the (three-part) Hao formhere. In answer to pim kanbier, it is my opinion that the energetic punch and press at the end of each part is a release of the quite intense energy built up by this form. I base this opinion on the reactions of my students, who invariably end each part smiling or laughing.

Clean defense, messy attacks and response. BUT it doesn't look fake or choreographed unlike some push hands demonstrations on other videos where otherwise quite competent, and much younger, senior students fly impossibly far back when pushed. On the other hand I share your rue that this was 30 seconds of "not very helpful". Click through the other Dong Zeng Chen videos many of them are much, much better, some superb.
